-There needs to be a connection between the standard school curriculum and the experiences of the students.
-"To educate is essentially to form."
-Students and teachers must have the right to "making a new choice or a new evaluation."

- Not all learning is dependent on the teacher or the student alone. Together they create understanding
-Avoiding irritation while learning allows room for growth and prevents stunted growth. 
- Seek God in all your learning, and you will see success. 
- There is wisdom in failing. Failing to do something correctly the first time teaches you how not to do it. 
- (in connection to the one before) Patience plays a key role in learning. A patient teacher makes all the difference in the life of a student.
