And etc, maintaing a certain routine gives them confidence of spending their time with a certain purpose

Explaining instructions for an activity. When the language needed to explain an activity is beyond their level and would take too much time if done in english, it would be better to use L1. Teacher should have in mind the language content and objectives for the lesson of the day.

Having a visual aid in the classroom sts can know in which part of the lesson they are, it can make them feel secure and lower their anxiety, especially if they are still getting used to an English class environment. It is not only beneficial to novice students but also settled in sts. For instance: it can help a latecomer to know in which part of the lesson they are to help him/her keep track of the lesson

usually we access YL through a receptive and a productive skill because some of them are in a fase in which they neither can read nor write in their mother language. So they acquire language through listening and reproduce it by speaking
