I like how it hits multiple ways of learning - for example, in a language example I looked at, there was a video explaining verbs, followed by a chance for the student to draw something that represents a verb for more visual learners plus a chance to write out a definition.

Application:
1. This could be a great way to introduce a topic to students. Since you can use videos, games, etc. it can help to give students a good foundation as an introduction.
2. For students who need extra support, this would be a great tool to have them work through as an extension if they need to see the material another way.
3. For those high flyers/ early finishers, having a group of these ready to go that students can work on at their own pace instead of sitting around.

Try
1. I would like to set some up for Smart Block to review grammatical concepts for those students who are struggling - with multiple ones formed I can direct students to the particular one they need.
2. Sub plans - its a great way to engage students into new material on days I may be out - so we don't just give students a worksheet or something, rather they can continue with new material.

Question
1. How to monitor student progress?

3 ways to use:
1. I was unable to find many examples relative to my content area, however I could still use this in my content area to help hit the standard "connections to other disciplines".
2. Assigning students one of these would be good for Smart Block as it allows students to work at their own pace and see material differently than it may had been presented in class.
3. In the PLIX series, students have access to infographics which is a great tool for visual learners - they could take advantage of this plus it wouldn't be very time consuming - something that would be ideal for smart block.

Use:
1. While I didn't find my subject area, there are some made in Spanish about other disciplines. Using for example a math related one written in Spanish is a great way to connect students to other disciplines while still getting the language exposure.
2. I also can use some of the English spelling/ pronuciation ones to allow students to compare and contrast the two languages.

1. Is it possible to create your own, or is it limited to the gallery?

CK12 Remediation Suite... Not so much for Theatre Arts :(

Oh man... I want to be excited about this tool, but I've been playing with it for an hour now and I can't find much of anything useful for my Theatre Arts. I see tons of applications for other subject areas, though! This seems like an awesome tool, just maybe not one I can use much.

To be honest, I can't find three ways to use this too for remediation in my personal classroom. I can see ways it could be used for others, though. I did find one activity connecting circles to Greek theaters, but it's about calculating circumference rather than theatre content. If I did a lesson in which we calculated circumferences of Greek stages, this could be a useful resource, but I would want to look into this more before incorporating it into my classes. It's at least a possibility!

The best thing I can plan on trying with this tool is to keep searching periodically for new content that relates to my subject area. I even looked in the English sections to see if there were tools about creative writing and play writing that could be useful, but I didn't find anything. I'll keep looking from time to time, though.

I guess my one question would be geared more towards the creators of the source rather than users... Why not include STEAM instead of just STEM? Yes, the arts can be a great way to reinforce other subjects, but our content is also important :)

I'm sorry that this isn't a true 3-2-1, but I just can't find much of anything to use from this tool for my class. Luckily, it seems like a wonderful tool for other areas!

I've been playing through the verbs example and it's been really enjoyable!

Three ways I might use this tool for extension or STEAM learning: 1) This could really make reviewing content at the end of a unit much more engaging! 2) This could be a really interesting way to explore Performance Art at the honors level with my students. This could really get the creative juices flowing. 3) I think it'd be cool to have students who finish content early create decks on topics we've covered in class!

Two things I plan to try: 1) I can already 100% say I'm definitely making one of these over fall track out for my Theatre 1 Theatre History unit! 2) I'd like to try having students create their own decks, much like having students create review games.

One thing I still have a question about: 1) Is there a way to have teachers connect to each other through this platform?

3. Ways to use Deck Toys: Wow! This looks awesome! I could see this being used in any subject area to teach vocabulary. This could be a great tool to integrate information into a novel study. I think this would have been great to mix into some of the beginning and end activities for the novel depending on what can be added (this will take some playing around with)! I love that there are premade examples already to use. I think I would share this with my other team teachers.

2. Plans for me: I would love to use some of these for I-block, especially for the vocabulary. I like that I can also used these like a lockout room, just all on the same template so students can see where they are headed and how close they are to their final goal. These could also be used as extension activities or choice boards for different paths. I could also use this for review for testing, lessons, topics, end of novel review, etc.

1. Questions: It is a little fuzzy on how to create your own- is there a tutorial or anything. There seem to be lots of tools and things to insert, etc. Does it keep track of the students' scores and attempts, etc.

It would allow students to work at their own pace, create, and review information.
3. Students can create a Deck and include videos, pictures, links, and review resources to show what they learned or should know about a topic.
2. Teacher can create a deck to give students guided learning and allow for extension in the topic area if they complete so far into the steps of the flow or line.
1.

3. Ways to use CK12: I think I would recommend this to my math and science team mates. This would be great for I-block for both extension activities and reteaching. I also think access to other teachers through the "CAFE" portion is cool. There are subject and state specific areas to ask questions and discussion with other educators. I also think sharing the "spelling" portion with my EC department would be helpful for MA. Another place this resource could be used in in Advisory for "Teen Health" for MA.

2. Plans: Unfortunately, I'm not sure this will work with my class. I played with the "spelling" option and the writing options, but I think they are too low for my kids. I could use this for I-block time if the math and Science teachers integrate it into their lessons. I also think this might be a good resource for Advisory Time for the "Healthy Teen" sections. There may be things in this section that would overlap our advisory lessons.

1. Questions: I would also like to know if there are any other resources available through this resource for ELA or S.S.
