In my family, before I go out with anyone, my family wants to know the person's name, how old they are, where we are going, she needs to meet their parents either prior to or the day of us going out, and they want to know exactly how I'm getting back home. They also want to know what time I'm going to be home and if it's a boy that I'm going out with then I have to get a whole lecture about the birds and the bees before going out. And if they are more then 3-4 years older than me then an adult has to be somewhat around us. And my parents have to like them as well or else I'm not going out with them at all.
