Going to college costs a lot of money as we all know. If you don't think about college as a life long investment, just like a tattoo. Thinking long term is the best way to go about this. Getting a tattoo and getting a college degree are very similar. They're both painful, expensive, and you have to sit in a chair for longer then you'd prefer. Plus you have to make awkward small talk through out, so yeah pretty similar.

Once again time will tell, normally you make more money with a college degree so eventually when you're in your mid 30s you won't be getting bills from that college you graduated from over a decade ago anymore. You will make more money faster with a college degree. Yes, debt sucks and most of us start in a little hole but you will make that money back.

Working hard, visiting a financial advisor, and being aware of what's going on is the best way to beating debts annoying butt.

What Do I Want To Do With My Life? AKA The Biggest Decision You Will Probably Ever Make. (not even a little bit scary, no pressure or anything.

At my high school graduation Dr. Gray who is the superintendent or something told us that the next four years of our lives will determine the rest of our lives.

You might feel pressured to know what you want to do, and during the icebreakers when everyone in your class is saying something cool like engineering, or nursing or education and it gets to you so you laugh and say you're undecided but actually you're freaking out inside. It's totally cool to not know what you're doing, you have time just get those darn gen eds out of the way, cause you have to take them anyway and you just bought yourself a couple semesters.

Go to an academic advisor, visit with some department advisors, and join in on some clubs. Getting out and seeing what the campus has to offer you is noice idea.
(Brooklyn 99 reference)

Squaring Off With Anxiety And Depression.

I'd like to go back to the previous long purple triangle filled with words. Dr. Gray and Brighton High School, excuse me? Up until this exact moment we were "Just kids" (Actual quote from my principle, thank you Gavin Johnson) We go from having to ask to go to the bathroom, and not being able to think for ourselves, and talk openly to getting a credit card, being away from our parents for the first time, and having to make real decisions and have real honest adult conversations. No pressure.

Anxiety
Over a few months, we go from being treated like kids to being treated like adults. Cool, makes sense, that's enough time to figure things out. We are young we haven't been exposed to very much. Most of us aren't use to being in charge of our lives being away from our parents and school five days a week seven hours a day. This is all new and that can be scary. School, homework, studying, family, and friends. That is a good amount to balance at once.

Depression, my junior year of high school a classmate committed suicide. He was depressed, no one knew just how bad it really was, depression isn't always taken the way it should be, some people don't see it as a big deal or they see it as a weakness, you just need to suck it up put on a fake smile and become a Hollywood actor. The school made one announcement and they put a page in last years yearbook for him. Let that sink in. That's when I gave up on high school.

Depression and Anxiety, also know as, The worst $7 cocktail ever. While being depressed sometime it;s hard to get up and live your life, that means not going to school, not leaving your room, and not socializing. Put simply, depression and anxiety are girls when they go to the bathroom. And it's just a cycle that sucks.

Going to see someone and talking about it, visit a counselor or talk to s friend or a trusted professor. Actually going out trying to help yourself is all you need to do. You aren't helping yourself if you don't go for it. The only one who can actually help you is you.

I know that personally I had no idea if Eastern was right for me for a long time I was thinking about Ferris State, didn't even apply to Eastern until the week before the deadline was. I know I'm not the only one who was second guessing. I'm still second guessing. It's kinda stressful to think about sometimes because of how important this decision is.

Ultimately time is the only way to tell because you need to take a moment to just see if it's right or not, test out the water, if the water is super cold run out and come back in a few months when it's a little warmer.

Going to an academic advisor is always a good idea, they are there to help so just take advantage, they are very good at what they do specifically Gregg. You can also talk to your parents and friends. Also sit down and look at the options.
