1. In this scene Harold is swearing an oath on some holy relics I think he is the one standing up and touching the box looking things. I think William is the one sitting down because he does not look like he is swearing upon and holy relics unlike Harold. It tells us that he is already in charge and that Harold is basically surrendering to him.
2. This scene depicts everyone getting ready for the invasion of England. It shows that William is a very smart and prepared planner.
3. This shows William fighting bravely with his troops and helping them invade the area.
4. William is the one riding on the red horse in the back. He is encouraging his soldiers and making them gain confidence in their journey.
5. He raises his helmet and shows his troops to tell them that he is still alive and encourages them to keep fighting.
6. He was successful because he was so good at ruling over his troops. He was very strategic in his planning and was well prepared for anything that could have been thrown at him.

1. i think william is the one in the gold robes to the left, because it says that harold is swearing an oath on holy relics, which a figure is doing in the center, and it also says that harold sails away afterwards, and the boat is on the right side of the scene. it tells you that he already seems to have authority and is a strong and powerful figure.
2. william and his men are preparing to invade england, and are stocking food and weapons in their boats.
3. it tells you that william is courageous and fights alongside his men instead of just ordering them to do whatever. it also shows you that he is very passionate about what he's fighting for
4. william is giving a speech to his soliders to give them strength and motivation before their battle
5. william falls off his horse, and takes off his helmet to reveal his face to his soldiers to encourage them to keep fighting.
6. i think that he was very successful because he was well prepared and did a lot to motivate his army and fought alongside them

1. I think william is the one in the gold because this shows wealth and it also looks like he is directing other people to do something for him.

2. This scene looks like people are loading things and a person onto a a cart. This indicates that the people are probably about to attack.

3. This scene shows that william is on a horse and directing people in boats probably about to go to war.

4. William is in the front and is leading the group. He has a gold horse.

5. In this scene, William encourages his army to fight and shows that he is alive and ok.

6. I think that he won because he was good at planning ahead and prepared for the battle. He also stood with his army and encouraged them.

The second scene I think that william is making some people work which shows that he can be demanding at times.
3. This scene tells us that william takes off his helmet and exposes his face.
4. William is the one in the front with the gold horse leading the pack.
5. He is taking off his helmet because he is trying to encourage his men to keep fighting.
6. I think he was successful because he cared about his men, was a good leader, and knew how to fight.

It says that he has just fallen off of his horse and is being good about it and encouraging his men to keep going and not give up
4. I think William is the one leading them and he is trying to encourage them to keep going and also in the picture there are men going in the opposite direction which could indicate something

4.He had just fallen from his horse and so he took off his mask and he is showing that he is fine and to show he is strong

5.He seems like he does not give up and shows he is strong

I think that the little carraige thing is taking the food and drinks to the ship to prepare for a battle. I think William is the one up front near the horse. I think he is leading them to battle.
3. That he has and his men are strong fighters and even though he was knocked down, he was still brave enough to show his face and keep on task to fight.

4. He is in the back and an he is trying to lead his men

5. William is taking off his helmet because he was knocked down and this shows that he is a brave fighter

6.

1. I think William is the one in gold because he is portrayed as the most wealthy. Also he looks as if he is giving orders to his men. Harold is taking an oath over holy relics.
2. in this scene, the men are bringing the food, arms, and other goods to the ships. This shows that William is getting ready to go to war.
3. This shows that William fights alongside his men, is fairly courageous and they are all on horses. William had just fallen off his horse but raised his helmet to show he is still alive and inspire his men.
4. I think that William is riding the one in the back because he is commanding people where to go.
5. William had just fallen off his horse but raised his helmet to show he is still alive and inspire his men.
6. I think overall william had good control over his people and was very inspiring to them.

1. This scene is when Harold and William returned to Normandy. Harold must swear an oath on holy relics. I think William is the one sitting down and watching this happen. This shows that he is really invested in being King and making sure everything goes as planned. After Harold swears the oath, he is set free. This may reveal that William is not purely evil but just wanted to be King.
2. This scene shows the boats being stocked before fighting. This scene displays that William is thoroughly preparing for the battle.
3. William falls from his horse and lifts up his mask to show his troops that he is alive. He encourages them to keep fighting. This shows that William led by example and that he motivated his troops.
4. William has the mace in his hand. He gives his troops an encouraging speech. This shows that he is a good leader that motivates his troops.
5.

1. William has just honored Harold with the gift of arms, which would have been seen as making William Harold's overlord. I think that William is the man sitting down, watching everything that is happening. In this scene, Harold swears a solemn oath on holy relics, and it seems as though William is sitting down and doing what he is doing because he is showing his "excitement" and care about the job of the king, and he wants everyone to see how good of a king he'd be, and how he would make decisions that are right for not only him, but also his people. An example of this is when he lets Harold free after swearing the oath. He wants to be a great ruler. :)

Harold is standing up in this picture, making some type of oath.
2. William and his servants(?) are getting ready to go to war. It shows how rich he is and how he is loading the ship with the equipment they need to survive.
3. It says how William is shown twice in this scene. He must play a super important role in this scene if he is shown two times.
4. William is in the back, giving his men orders.
5. William is taking off his helmet after falling off his horse. he is proving he is alive.
6. I think he was a good leader, because the tapestry shows how he gave orders to his men and helped them survive the wars.

1. William is the one in gold because he is being pictured as someone of high status. This scene tells us that William was one who had people swear an oath before they were allowed to leave if they so wish.
2. In this scene, different types of food and drink are being loaded onto a ship. This shows us that William made sure that while traveling he brought enough supplies in order to hopefully not run out.
3. This scene tells us that William was one who would always stand by and fight with his men in battle. He would do this by somehow wearing a disguise.
4. William is taking off his helmet in this scene. He is in front of the other two men.
5. William is taking off his helmet in this scene. He is in front of the other two men. He also does this in the last two questions.
6. I think that William was a successful military leader because of the fact that he would always fight and stand by his men during battle.
