Not much is known about his early days in London, but when he resurfaces in 1592 as an already established London actor. He went to prosper from his plays and writing and bought the second largest house in Stratford. It is thought by some that Shakespearean work was actually created by someone else but claimed by Shakespeare. This began when some critics at his time referred to him as "Shake - Scene" questioning his full involvement in his writing.
