         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Men in america would begin to start wearing more european styles. They would wear a linen shirt, over that breeches linen stockings and wool jackets or waistcoats. Men typically wore these outfits to keep warm since the winters were very harsh in england, france, and north america.<br><br>2. For men it was common for them to wear their hair very long either braided or pulled back. They wore it braided or pulled back so it would stay out of their face. People rarely washed their hair back then so it was easier when it was braided or pulled back.<br><br>3. Women's sleeves were short (Just below the elbow) and were finished with big wide and elegant lace ruffles. Women liked the elegancy of the sleeves and they were short to keep them cool but still fluffy and pretty.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The beginning of the industrial revolution was in the 1700s, the industrial revolution was a movement that was made by major economic changes because of the invention of many machines. Some examples of machines would be Flying shuttle (1733 John Kay), Water frame (1769 Richard Arkwright), Spinning Jenny (1770 James Hargreaves). All these machines made it easier to craft clothes and mass production was beginning to become more possible by each invention.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. In the 1700s people in the american revolutionary war tended to copy the english and french in their clothes. It seems today that we still seem to copy the english and french while making clothes our own.<br><br>2. Powdered Wigs were popular originally in France though the style migrated over to england. The style of having long hair came with the wigs.</div>]]></description>
