    Yes bias has definitely shaped this. My experiences from my own schooling made me realer better to the ‘favourite child’ and much lesser with the 2nd child. I did not think much about their needs.

Her straightforwardness created a trusting atmosphere and often brought a smile to my face. It reminded me how valuable and rare genuine honesty can be, and it inspired me to appreciate authenticity in others.

  • This child seems to be exploring what I ideally feel he must be doing at his age (cheeky, boisterous, coolest in class etc.)

  • I can see that this child will be a smart worker in the future with the right support from school and parents. The parent factor seems missing.

  • Definitely. I THINK the first child is what I FEEL is the ideal way to go about his teenage. And the second child will be a smart worker, because I used to be a below average learner in school and I turned out well enough.

  • Yes... my bias based on my past experiences.

  • I did make an attempt to put my no bisses aside n look at the second student fresh. Tried motivating him.... Mentoring him... Attempted many strategies too... But nothing worked.
