For the speaking portion of the test I think it is better to focus on thinking about a logical answer and not so much on taking notes. After all, you only have 20 or 30 seconds to come up with a good response.

In the listening part, when taking notes try to be organized. Don`t write the main idea imediately , listen to the whole audio , what he spends more talking about is the the answer.

I think that one of the best strategies in the reading section is to read the questions and the answers and then look for these words on the text, it is time saving and helps you keep focused on what really matters; answering correctly and quickly.

Some strategies that work for me on the listening part. When taking the notes, write the words in my language, just if the vocabulary is shorter than in English. Also, do drawings not waste my time writing words.

For the writing part, don't forget to organize the structure of your writing, use transition words and keep in mind the number of words assigned for the different tasks, do not extend your ideas or do less than you are being asked to do.

Skimming and scanning in the reading section worked well for me because by applying those strategies I could answer faster the questions. On the other hand,
in the listening section the strategy of taking notes was not effective at all because I couldn't concentrate in both things at the same time. After all, I learned new techniques and strategies for the TOEFL IBT and I had the opportunity to practice with the four english skills at a higher level.

For the listening section, try to read the first 2 or 3 questions and then listen to that specific information, it saves time.

A good strategies for speaking are identify the main topic so this helps to structure our answers,. Also, take short notes about the audio, helps to have more clear and in order our ideas.

Amazing strategies for every section, but the problem for me is the time, i feel frustrated myself when i am working with time jejeje. But my favorite strategies were for listening part because taking notes helps us to remember about it.

For the listening section, we don´t forget to practice in our daily life to improve it, for example: try to answer questions (wh-questions), listen different types of materials, keep a listening log.

Most of the strategies presented work well for me, but i still feel a little uncomfortable taking notes, i feel like i miss some important details or what im taking notes about is not the information that i would be asked about, in general scanning and skimming are good strategies, when looking fornspecific information!

For me, note taking has been the most important strategy that has helped me in these activities. I need to continue working on it because sometimes it is difficult to organize what I write. Also, I noticed that this strategy is essential for most of the skills I practiced during the course.

One strategy that I liked the most is the way we learned to take notes of what we listened to by only write key words and use symbols to help us remember important information.
