I'm hoping that this week is a good week for all of us. I had a great relaxing weekend in Portland. Hopefully yours was relaxing, fun, productive, or exciting. We are starting Module 6 but we are in Week 7 of the quarter which means we only have 2 weeks left after this week. Please don't wait until the end to do your assignments. Get them done, get them out of the way, and earn those credits. Saturday school is an option this coming Saturday. It is from 9 am - 12 pm and it is a great opportunity to come make up some missing assignments or to get ahead and finish a class early. If I have enough students that plan on showing up, I will plan on being here. If you were able to attend the reality fair yesterday I hope that you learned something new and gained some insight into what it means to manage your money and being an adult. Many of you aren't far from adulthood so skills like money management, budgeting, and saving are essential. I like shopping and while going through the simulation yesterday, I ran out of money :( I had to go back and return some of my big purchases. My credit score was so low that I couldn't get a house or any of the nice items. My "fake" car payment was so high due to my terrible credit.
