I like how you filled the space and warped the copy in the ears to fill the gaps.

Instead of transforming the text the way you did, what other ways could you have filled the space? Could you have used other text formatting tools available in Photoshop?

One suggestion I would have would be to use more angles in the body to crate the cross hatch pattern which would break up the copy so it doesn't read like a long run on sentence.

Picking a silhouette for designs like this can be tricky because they have to be recognizable in the most simplest form. I can't think of a more iconic silhouette than the one you chose.

One thing I noticed right away was the missing buttons on his shorts. Where did they go? Those would have helped to solidify the character even more mainly because they are just as key to Mickey as he ears.

I made a few versions of this but stuck with the first one for the purpose of the assignment. I posted the second version just because :)

As for the pose, I'm sure there are others. I was drawn to this pose initially because it posed more of a challenge.

For the 2nd version, I made a copy of the text layers, flattened them, modified the scale,  and then added a gradient mask to them. I then manipulated the layers blend options to get the result you see there.

The 2nd one utilizes the negative space on purpose. G- My suggestion would be to create more definition to the shape of Mickey by not shading in His shorts just because
 it leaves so much of his silhouette vague because of the large portion that he matches up with the background. G- I think there are some blank spots that I couldn't help but to notice, and my eyes were drawn their a lot instead of deeper into your design.
