1)October 2024 mock test No.24

2)It explains the psychology and background of consumers' desire to upgrade their latest devices more than necessary. Producers raise doubts that our existing devices are not suitable and induce upgrades, and this process is applied not only to digital devices but also to a variety of consumer electronics such as self-driving cars and smart refrigerators. Consumers are induced to believe that they want the latest device, but in fact, they are induced to believe that it is 'necessary'. This blurs the line between 'what they want' and 'what they need', and the desire for continued upgrades affects financial priorities.

3)This is a phenomenon in which the distinction between "want" and "need" is blurred due to the influence of the market that induces consumers to unnecessary upgrades.

4)I chose this article because I wanted to understand the impact of consumer behavior and markets related to economic career paths. The process by which consumers are induced to unnecessary upgrades is related to important consumer behavior theory in economics, and it helps to analyze the impact of this phenomenon on the market economy, consumer trust, and corporate marketing strategy. In addition, I think this consumption pattern is a very interesting topic from an economic point of view because it has an important influence on economic resource allocation and financial priorities.

Through this article, the situation of interest in the economic path leads to an understanding of the interaction between consumer behavior and marketing strategies. The phenomenon that consumers are induced to unnecessary upgrades is closely related to a company's marketing, advertising, and product development strategies. Through this phenomenon, it is my interest to better understand the impact of consumers' psychology and choices on economic resource allocation.
To further investigate this, research related to the theory of consumer behavior can analyze how companies stimulate consumer needs and how consumers blur the line between 'need' and 'desire'. In addition, investigating the impact of these consumption patterns on the entire economy and how consumers' financial priorities affect economic growth and resource allocation will be important research topics.

5)They were able to gain deep insight into the impact of consumer behavior on the economic system. In particular, the psychology of consumers to upgrade more products than necessary and the market strategy to induce it are linked to important consumer theory in economics. This phenomenon shows how great the influence of marketing and advertising is, and it has led companies to think a lot about how they induce consumer choices and influence economic resource allocation.
In connection with my economic career, I want to analyze how consumer behavior and marketing strategies affect the overall economy while studying economics in the future. In particular, I think research on how consumers' financial priorities and corporate strategies interact will be of great help to my career path. Through this article, I realized that consumer behavior plays an important role in shaping economic trends, and I was motivated to explore it more deeply.

In the 2024 October National Unified Exam, I selected question 23 from the Korean Language section, which deals with “The Evolution of Literature and Language.” This question discusses how language and literature change over time, emphasizing that the language used by characters in literary works reflects the culture and values of their era. The central theme is that literature and language evolve with societal shifts, providing a window into each era’s cultural and moral framework. I chose this topic because, as an aspiring Korean language teacher and writer, understanding the historical development of language and literature is essential. Language is not merely a communication tool; it encapsulates the thoughts, values, and social context of its time. Through further exploration, I learned that changes in language are deeply intertwined with social and cultural transformations. By analyzing language in different literary periods, we can uncover how societal values and mindsets have evolved. This realization reinforced that literature, while changing with the times, conveys universal human emotions and enduring values, making it a timeless medium of communication. As a future teacher, I aim to help students understand language within its historical and cultural context, fostering deeper appreciation and insight. As a writer, recognizing these language shifts will enable me to create authentic stories that resonate with contemporary audiences while preserving meaningful connections to the past.

For example, when carrying out any scientific project, prior research on laboratories, tools, chemical supplies, etc. must be conducted, which will help students succeed. It is essential to prepare for the experiment, and it is necessary to know what is required in detail for the experiment. According to this, pain and pleasure are formed and processed in the same area of the brain, and our body constantly pursues homeostasis in which functions are balanced, so the two emotions are highly dependent on each other and react correspondingly to achieve balance as if they were two halves on the scale, so pain is also an essential component for maintaining a neutral state.

3. Indispensable Components for Each Other to Keep Balance.

4. The reason I chose this content is because it is closely related to my future aspirations as a soldier and a person in the restaurant industry. Soldiers must endure pain through extreme physical and mental training and perform their duties while maintaining physical and psychological balance. Similarly, those working in the restaurant industry experience tension, stress, and hard work to satisfy customers, but through this, they achieve balance by gaining a sense of accomplishment and reward from cooking.

The body's tendency to achieve balance through pain and pleasure (homeostasis) was found to play an important role in the sustainability of both occupations. For example, we learned that soldiers must maintain psychological balance even in extreme situations, and workers in the restaurant industry must maintain creativity and provide stable service even under stress.

5. After reading the passage, I was impressed that pain is not simply something to be avoided, but a necessary element for balance and growth. It was interesting to see how pain and pleasure depend on each other and achieve balance in the brain.

I also felt a connection between the military and the restaurant industry. Soldiers go through difficult times during training and missions, but they feel a sense of accomplishment and reward when they complete their mission. People in the restaurant industry also work in busy and difficult environments, but customer satisfaction and the joy of completing a dish help them overcome the pain. I felt that both careers were similar in that they involved growth and balance through pain and pleasureThrough this, I also thought that in the future, I would like to become a person who accepts pain positively and moves forward.

The question I chose is question 32 of the mock test in October 2024. This question suggests that when translators translate a sentence, the opinions of various people are attached, and as a result, all translations are translated by a crowd. Through this, the subject of this article can be understood, and even if translators translate on their own, they actually translate it by reference to translations as well as dictionaries, so the translator's knowledge is formed by another conversation or test. The reason I chose this question is that I thought it was somewhat related to my desired career path. My desired career path is related to law, and when I choose this job, I will be able to see a variety of articles. For example, you will be able to see the original text, or even the judgments of other countries. I will accept the various articles I will encounter in the future, recognizing that the opinions and opinions of various people have been added. Also, I may be able to take the lead in the act of 'translation'. Even if a trial is held in a country, there will be various foreigners living in that country and international problems may arise. Since not only my own thoughts but also those of others must be done together, I could even see that each person should be responsible for his or her job when doing this, and through this, I could grow further.

The manufacturer's upgrade strategy mentioned in this text is a typical marketing technique in which a company tries to maximize product sales by stimulating consumer needs. I chose this topic because I thought it would be an important basis for further research on consumer psychology, marketing planning, and branding strategies when majoring in business administration in the future.

In connection with my career path, business administration, it is essential for a company to understand consumer behavior and establish appropriate marketing strategies in order to grow. However, I felt that a strategy that considers the actual value of consumers and sustainable growth, not just pursuing corporate interests, was more important.

Through this question, I came to think about both the positive and negative aspects of strategies that stimulate consumer sentiment. To gain long-term trust from a company's point of view, honest and transparent marketing is necessary, and it is important to lead the relationship with the consumer in a win-win manner.

Based on this realization, if I major in business administration and become a marketing professional or corporate manager in the future, I want to study strategies that maximize corporate value while respecting consumers' rational choices. To this end, I made a commitment to study more in-depth areas such as consumer behavior analysis, product life cycle management, and ethical marketing.

Accordingly, I explored how literature has served as a catalyst for social change. In Korean literature, Lee Gwang-su’s The Heartless (무정) spread modern thought and the enlightenment movement, encouraging readers to imagine a new social order. Additionally, Hwang Sokyoung’s The Road to Sampo (삼포가는길) highlighted the rural realities marginalized by industrialization, urging readers to take on social responsibility and promote change

5

After reading this, I realized once again that literature plays an important role in social change beyond being just an artistic domain. It was impressive to see that literary works reflect social realities and have the power to urge readers to take on social responsibility and promote change. I have come to understand the significant role literature can play as a catalyst for social and historical transformation. Through this experience, I feel that I gained a deeper understanding of the Korean language and literature.

선택한 주제: 2024년 10월 모의고사 22번 문항

내용 요약)

Measuring the mass of bowling ball is easy: we can just use our scales. But when it comes to measuring the mass of a star, it indeed becomes a thing. If we want to measure the mass of a star, it is impossible to weigh it directly, so we want to calculate things using various mechanical theories and methodologies. Let’s see an instance, to make things easier to understand. Let’s say I want to measure the mass of a star, which is in a binary star system. I cannot put it onto a scale, but I can find the barycenter between the two stars and their revolution period, and then I can use Kepler’s Third law. As you can see, I’m not just roughly estimating. I’m calculating. And this is not just confined to measuring the mass—This is about every measurement. Shortly, we can say that measurement is not just a simple act, but a synthesis of various theoretical systems that have already been established.

주제 요약)

Measurement is the process of calculation that applies various theories that have already been established.

I found this passage familiar to me because I’ve already learned about the barycenter(the comman center mass) in Earth Science class. However, because the subject was focused on the optical properties of stars, I had questions about how to measure mass by mechanical methods, and since my career path is in the field of astronomy and physics, I chose the topic to explore more about it.

심화조사) 케플러 제3법칙, 그리고 지문 내용의 실제 적용

I already have the knowledge that Sirius, the brightest star in the night sky, is also a binary system. And I thought, that means if I could find the orbital period of Sirius system and the proper calculating method, I could actually measure the mass of Sirius just as the passage. So I started researching.

The distance between Sirius A and B (we call them respectively A and B. The A one is the bright, main sequence star, and the B is really small that we can’t even see with our naked eye. It’s a white dwarf.) is 19.8 AU(AU is Astronomical Unit, which is defined as the average distance between the Earth and the Sun), and the orbital period is 50.1 years(Of course, earth-year).

The Kepler’s Third law is this formula: (Total mass)= (distance)^3/(period)^2

So, let’s calculate. 19.8^3/50.1^2‎ = 3.0926(about 3 times the sun’s mass). It’s the value for the sum of the mass of the two stars. To find out the mass of each star respectively, we can use the barycenter. It turns out that Sirius B, the less massive star, is about twice as far from the barycenter than is Sirius A. That means Sirius B has about half the mass of Sirius A. So now I know that the mass of Sirius A is about two solar masses. And then Sirius B pretty much equals our sun in mass.

We chose this topic because we hope to solve this problem as soon as possible, as the problems that arise will only get bigger and bigger if this social problem continues.

5) There's no denying that the latest gadgets have many advantages over their older counterparts. However, I don't think there's anything stupider than buying the latest gadgets out of ignorance. Kids these days are more fashion-conscious than adults, and being a little behind the curve can make them feel left out of their peer group. Of course, relationships with friends are important, but the rush to get the latest gadgets can sometimes lead to skipping out on things you really need, which can have a negative impact on your finances. I think there are a lot of social perceptions that contribute to kids' obsession with the latest gadgets. Adults need to address these issues in order for children to not be marginalized among their peers no matter what device they use. I also pay a lot of attention to social issues and will try to make the world a better and happier place for everyone.

They often fail to identify the resources required to complete tasks, emphasizing the need for prior investigation into essential resources, such as laboratories, equipment, and chemicals, for specific learning projects. Such preparation is crucial for students’ success and includes consideration of human and financial resources. Identifying resources in advance can lead to adjustments in topics or the search for alternative resources, ultimately enhancing students’ creativity.

3) The importance of identifying necessary resources in advance is emphasized as a way to enhance students’ creativity and ensure the success of their learning activities.

4,5) This is the fingerprint that I was most interested in because it was related to a teacher who is a career path while studying for the exam. This fingerprint felt like dealing with the promotion of students' creativity from the perspective of science education relatively. So while studying, I chose this topic because I wondered what could be the way to improve students' creativity from the perspective of language education rather than from the perspective of science education.

In the course of exploring this topic, I learned about Havruta education, and in this report, I will learn about Havruta.

There were many papers and educational methods during the research, but the most noticeable education method was the Havruta class.

Habruta is a traditional Jewish discussion learning method, in which two people pair up to share, criticize, and learn from each other's thoughts through questions and answers.

It is not just about receiving knowledge, it focuses on developing critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

There are three main characteristics of

1. Interaction: Mostly two people learn in pairs, which at the same time act as learning and teaching.

2.Active Learning: Students actively participate in learning in the process of asking questions on their own, finding answers, and expressing their thoughts.

3.Promoting Creative Thinking: Develop creative and critical thinking skills through the process of comparing and analyzing different perspectives.

With these characteristics, Havruta enhances students' problem-solving and logical thinking skills, strengthens their inclusiveness to embrace various perspectives, and enhances creativity and self-expression skills.

Therefore, in actual classes, the teacher presents a topic and then students can be paired to ask and answer questions about the topic, and it is particularly effective in subjects that require discussion such as Korean, history, and society, and can be used for discussion and writing activities in English classes.

In the era of the 4th industrial revolution and AI, I think students should make use of their own characteristics in order to avoid being dominated by AI.

I think it is essential to improve creativity in order to make use of that characteristic, so through this inquiry activity, I was able to seriously think about how to improve creativity so that students can live competitively in the AI era, and I was able to examine my educational view once again by exploring Havruta in depth, and it was a very meaningful activity to imagine becoming a teacher and teaching in these ways with students in the future.
