Winter is the best season of the year. I love the cold weather! There is something magical about the chance of snow and waiting for those beautiful snowflakes to fall from the sky. The blanket of white covers everything. Hot chocolate is one of my favorite things on a cold day. The warm chocolate liquid slides down your throat and warms your tummy. I have the best memories of my boys watching movies on the sofa while snuggling in blankets during the winter. There is nothing like winter time to slow down our normally fast-paced life so that we can enjoy our family time. (It has been a bit different this year with both my boys away at college. Now it is just me, my husband, and the cat.)
