Why: Elizabeth remains truthful and and sympathetic towards Justine to give the jury a true sense of Justine´s character. She sees her ¨friends¨ misrepresenting her and chooses to give  a true testimony to save who she believes is innocent. Her testimony is reliable because Justine´s innocence does not benefit Elizabeth in any way, she tells the truth because it´s what she has experienced.

3. Victor's thoughts are unreliable because though he feels shame and guilt, his self pity makes him play the "victim" card, as if he's trying to forgive himself before anyone else can.
