Maybe having a box of colored rocks or marbles...OR some sort of "colored blocks" Where the students can view the Mood Meter and chose an item reflecting the color of how they are feeling at the moment upon entering the building. Then the teachers can take a moment to discuss the colors each student selected upon arriving and settling in their classroom.
