In the book Squish Fear The Amoeba squish the main character went to the movies with his friends.Then gets frightened by a kitten in the movie when the kitten scared him .in the movie the kitten got eaten bya a water bear. Then that night he had a night mirror about the movie. er that night mirror that day he heard a wierd noise . So he keeps getting frightened and his friends invite him to go to the movies but he doesn't want to go because he doesn't want to look lame in front of his friends. He learns mirror takes real courage to say your scared .

I liked the book because it was funny and it was understandable and it seemed as if the characters were being brought into real life.

I recommend the book because it is understandable and the author makes it fun to read with a good story.

This book is a nonfiction book that I borrowed from the Walpole library. It is about different types of hummingbirds and their habitats. I like this book because it had a lot of information. It had really nice pictures too.

The Getaway

The story is about Greg's parents don't want to celebrate Christmas that year. So they decide to go to a beach resort, and weird and fun things happen. Also, a few problems occur. Everything works out in the end.

Something I liked about the book is that it had funny stuff. For example, one time some kids younger than Greg figured out that if they blocked holes in a little pirate ship hose, then the other hose would shoot further!

Something I did not like about the book is something I find too weird to talk about because it was really weird.

Read it if you want to!

Sci-fi: The Lion of Mars

This book takes place in a settlement on Mars. The story is basically about this 11 year old boy named Bell, who is the youngest of the children in the settlement. There are also adults in the settlement.

The reason why it is called The Lion of Mars is because Bell likes lions. The story follows his life. His schedule is mostly meals and chores.

There are some bad times, like when all of the adults got sick. There are some good times, like when the French settlement them (the American settlement).

The book is also about community.

I chose this book because I liked another of Jennifer L. Holm's book and I wanted to read another.

I recommend this book 10/10 for the adventure, and it is both sad and happy.

I read Punished by David Lubar. It is a funny fiction book. My favorite part was that the main character had to talk in puns. I learned what oxymorons are from this book. I give book 5 out of 5 stars and recommend you read it.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Diper overlode

This is book 17 of the diary of wimpy kid series.

At the beginning of the book, Greg talked about the band Loded Diper where his brother Rodrick plays with his friends, named Bill,Drew and Mackie.

In the story the battle of bands is starting soon so they want to compete in, they start trying to get their music out in stores, elevators, radio stations, and more but they don’t want their music so they start playing in places and start getting their own fans, but all the fans they got were all moms!

they wanted crazy fans so they had an idea they would sell merch and that a good idea but they the had to make it with thingsthey had such as flowers,toilet paper and irons. They also wanted money so they made meet and greet package and the full diper package was 70 dollars with stuff like high five and autograph merch.

Something big happened when the band got a letter from a company, because they were getting sued if they don’t change their name because a card company had a card with the same name,loded diper, so they have to change their name so they name the band Loded Diper number 2.

They ended up not winning the battle of bands but getting kind of famous, got new fans, not only moms, and Greg helped his brother Rodrick get his band to play in more places.

I recommended this book, 5 star

This book was really good. It's kind of confusing at the start, but when you get into the book it's not. It's about a few kids that worked at Disney as holagrams. They think that they were just holagrams but soon find out that they were hired for a different plan.

The Secret Lake

This book involves some of my favorite things... summer time, dogs, lakes, friends, and solving mysteries! Stella and Tom discover a secret tunnel in the garden that takes them back in time to their house 100 years in the past. They meet friends and help put pieces of the past together. This book kept me interested and was great for summer time. I definitely recommend this book. It was a 10 out of 10.

A Boy Called Bat

A Boy Called Bat is about a boy named Bat. They call him Bat because when he’s excited he likes to flap his hands. Bat has trouble relating to other people because other people think he is weird. Bat often says what is on his mind but does not understand that can be rude. So, Bat is alone a lot. In school, his class has a pet bunny named Babycakes and Bat likes to have some alone time with Babycakes when he feels overwhelmed. Mr. Grayson who is Bat’s teacher helps Bat when he is alone. So when Bat’s mom who is a veterinarian brings home an orphaned baby skunk, Bat was excited to spend time with it. The baby skunk is called a kit. The hardest part for him is being away from his mom and the kit every other Friday. That’s when he stays at his dad’s house for the weekend. When Bat is at his dad’s house, Lawrence, someone that works at his mom’s work, takes care of the kit. When Bat comes home, he is happy because he gets to be with the kit again. His mom says he can’t keep the kit because it is a wild animal and must go back to the wild when it is old enough. So, Bat emailed a skunk expert named Dr. Jerry Dragoo. Mr. Grayson helped Bat to write the email. I won’t tell you what happened with the email but Bat gets some more information on baby skunks and if he gets to keep it or not. Bat’s sister named the kit Thor. Bat spends time with Lawrence and the kit and learns to how to talk with people and not to seem rude. I don’t want to give away the end of this book but I like learning about Bat and what makes him special and happy. I like this book because it is interesting, fun to read, and the characters are cool. I give this book 4.5/5 stars!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: No Brainer

I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid No Brainer by Jeff Kinney. This is a story about how Greg Heffley deals with trying to save Larry Mack middle school from closing for good. Greg is motivated to save to school from closing because he wants to remain with his friend, Rowley. I enjoyed this book because of the illustrations depicting events throughout the story as well as that this story, like many of the other 'Diary of a Wimpy kid' series, is full of comedy.

I like this book because I can relate to the main character Raina because I have a lot of teeth problems too. I feel really badly for her though because she had some friends that were mean to her and made fun of the way she looked. What I liked about the book was when she went into high school she made new friends that made her feel good and never made fun of the way she looked. With her new friends she felt better about herself and she was more confident and was trying new things. She found that she was really good at art and was starting to be very happy and was willing to trying new things. I would recommend this book to anyone who is in middle school.

This book is recommended for kids who like graphic novels about historical fiction. I like this book because I like learning about wars. I also like it because the two characters are Jewish and hide from the nazis. It is about how they try to escape and survive. This book has a lot of action to it.
