         <description><![CDATA[<p>The acquisition/learning- acquisition is a natural process and it is different from learning. Learning is more of the study aspect. Hard to see which of the two is at work.</p><p><br/></p><p>The monitor- three condition which include " sufficient time, focus on grammatical form, and explicit knowledge of the rules"  Knowing rules " helps learner polish their language" Immersion programs believe explicit instruction is necessary </p><p><br/></p><p>The natural order- " they acquire the rules of language"</p><p><br/></p><p>The input- second language acquisition is a result from the learners " understanding the target language in natural communication situations" , inputs: must be understandable, contain grammatical structures, and contain a natural "flowing language used for purposeful communication"</p><p><br/></p><p>The affective filter- "social emotional variables", "low anxiety learning environment", motivation, confidence and self esteem. </p>]]></description>
