As we gather together to celebrate this special day, I am filled with so much gratitude for each and every one of you. I want to express my immense gratitude for you guys. You have helped me for the past two years/ When I first joined 21K in 5th Grade, it wasn't the best experience for me socially. I had no friends throughout the year and I missed my old friends. However, in Grade 6, everything changed. I met 3 very vibrant and happiness-radiating people whose identities I do not wish to reveal, and they made my year. It was perhaps the best year of my life and a huge credit of that goes to them. Without them, I probably would have left 21K sacrificing my passion just because I could not find friends and I was just unhappy in general. Unfortunately, however, one of them left the school last year and one was placed in a different section. So, now I still have one of them in my section and they continue to make my life great! So, dear friends, Thank You for getting my head out of the mud and giving me perhaps the best year of my life.

I'm thankful for my parents for being supportive and helpful with my studies, specifically my mother for helping me achieve my goals.

I'm also thankful for my facilitators, they have all been amazing and understanding. My ESOL facilitator, Miss Mary Sebastian, in particular has been really kind and was very patient with me which I admire. She also gave me more confidence to talk and her classes always make my day brighter!

second is that my mom is a heroine to me because she is the person who gave me the right pathway to follow my dream and is still doing the same, giving me a push to make things right.

And my dad on the other hand is my hero! he is the one who taught me that little changes make's big differences in life. He is the one who thought me that " no one will behave as per how you wish them to be you'll have to have to understand that".

I am deeply grateful for my lovely sister. I am almost always entertained by her cuteness, liveliness, etc... she has taught me many lessons that hardly anyone can receive from a 5-year-old. I am just grateful for her to be herself.

I am very grateful for my family because basic learning always starts from Family.

And I am so very grateful for few of my best friends. Friends are kind, funny, filled with joy, picking up fights etc... because what's a life without any friends it's always nice to have people of our age to be around us, it gives us a complete feeling...

And most of all i am very grateful to the almighty because he is the reason of each and every living being to be part of this planet...

Literally every day that goes by, am so grateful for my family. I appreciate everything that my mother does to take care of me, and everything my father does to bring cash into the house, and everything that my sister does to make my life worth living.
