Later on french immigrants came in on boats in 1719 to become citizens and they became known as cajuns and that was what started the diverse culture of Louisiana. On that boat in 1719 the French brought the first Africans for labor in Louisiana. New Orleans, Louisiana was the birthplace of jazz. There are so many good foods but my favorite is the desert called a benya it will make your mouth water and fill your heart with happiness, it  is a powder donut like pastree that is always warm like the south. Walking down bourbon street is like walking in a candy shop of excitement, there is nothing boring about Louisiana.
