- In my example I used the song, "Blurred Lines". The attitude this song bring is very sexist towards women and the way they talk about girl they are describing is very wrong. The song says she is kind of drunk, that is why there are blurred lines. Also, since the girl is drunk they are taking advantage of her and are letting her do whatever she wants. But if she was not drunk, I do not think the girl would do that.
- I think the song is based of something that could happen in reality. A lot of people do drink and get drunk, but they made this song toward women because females are tend to be known as people who can't handle liquor.
- This is harmful because people do not realize the real meaning of the song. They just think it's catchy, but it actually talks about doing the special hug when women are not completely aware of what is going on.
- Maybe a change that could be made to change perspective on gender expectations would be to change the lyrics. It is not necessary to shame girls just to get famous. There are other ways.

- In, "The Modern Family", there are plenty of reasons why this show is sexist towards women. One of the many reasons is that all the guys from he show have actual jobs. For example, Clair and Gloria do not have jobs, Hailey is the stereotypical airhead that doesn't know anything, and her sister Alex is a typical nerd girl. Unlike the guys that are lawyers, real estate, and owner of a company.
- I think that the show is based on what both gender roles are suppose to do. The women is "suppose" to stay home and to all the house work, while men are working. I don't think it should it be like that because women are equally as qualified to do what men do.
- Something that can change on this TV show could be to add jobs to the female roles. If they added the jobs to the women it would give a more accurate representation of what women do on a daily basis, and still not get enough credit for.

- In the song, "Animals", you can tell how the singer is referring to the girl as prey and him as a predator. Specially in the beginning of the video when he is cutting meat at the meat place. The song lyric I chose also shows it because it says that he can smell her no matter if she is miles away.
- I think this is based on how men portray woman. What I mean is that men are usually the ones to "get at" the women. They make the first move, but they should not show women that way.
- This is harmful because it is unfair men do this. Specially men who are famous and have a big following. They should promote equal rights for both genders not make one seem superior than the other one.
- One change that should be made for the better of the music industry and music in general, is that they should see what they write before recording a song. Sometimes people do it catch what it says since it is just catchy, but says really inappropriate stuff.
