One doesn’t have to go far from the city centre to be surround by cultural diversity. In fact a perfect example of Sydney’s diversity is Leichhardt, that is Sydney’s little Italy 
2- Never A Dull Moment
The Sydney Opera House attracts top acts from all over the world. Every month it’s booked solid with touring rock bands, lecturers, theatre productions or a visiting orchestra. Almost every month there is a festival happening somewhere in the city and  the words “I’m bored” are rarely spoken by Sydney-siders.
3- Surrounded By Nature
Even though Sydney is a modern metropolitan you’re never far from nature. There are many large parks and nature reserves in and surrounding the city.
4. Economically Stable
Just a few years ago, the Global Financial Crisis  shook up many countries’ financial stability. Amazingly, Australia seemed to escape the crisis all together making the Australia dollar strong than ever but Sydney’s high cost of living is a shock to newcomers moving to the city, including those from other areas of Australia. Even with the high cost of living there are many opportunities for expats to start to saving money.
5. A great place to raise a family
Once you’ve fallen for Sydney, you may find yourself thinking of making a more long term commitment and settling down. Sydney is one of the best places to do just that.At the heart of each village is the community centre, a place that all newly arriving families should get to know, there are a lot of play parks and it is well known for having one of the world’s best public school systems.

Volunteers helped plant up to 3,000 new plants in Sydney Park on Sunday 26 July 2015 to celebrate Planet Ark’s National Tree Day .
Over 600 Sydneysiders and visitors joined the free tree planting event, they also learned about greening their homes and got their hands dirty.
The City of Sydney supports the yearly event as part of our Greening Sydney Plan, which encourages volunteers to contribute to greening the urban landscape. 

Growing their urban canopy

The City is committed to increasing their urban canopy up to 50% by 2030. They have planted over 9,500 trees since 2005 and there are around 42,000 trees in their streets and parks across the local area.
Trees make their streets more beautiful, improve air quality and provide habitat for native birds and other wildlife. Increasing the canopy cover will improve the livability of their city by cooling and filtering the air and shading their houses and streets in summer.
