I found/bought the button at a convention and find the type interesting for a few reasons. The glitters and the bubbly letters emphasize the cuteness of the design on the pin. That, plus the way the letters are all connected in some way - not like cursive, but they're all touching and flowing together.

This is a sticker I found on my friends water bottle. I find the type both interesting and fitting for the rock band because of the loud capital letters and aggressive shade of red used. The slash marks in the font also emphasize the power behind the word/sound of "clash".

I love the font on this - I got this from a concert last year and have been a fan of the band and its logo for a while. It all fits together snugly, has two crescent moons in the G and T that fit the aesthetic overall. The upside down gothic cross for the T makes sense for the bands theme of Satanism and blasphemy.

I got this at a horror convention last year. Now, there is a BUNCH of fonts on this, and that's why I picked it. Instead of breaking this down font by font, I think talking about the objective of using so many will be better. Since this is mimicking an older advertisement, it's a tactic used to grab peoples attention and drag your eyes around the page. Big bold letters for the most important parts of the ad, smaller text for the rest.

Putting the spotlight on the V in the green text, this is supposed to mimic a vampire fang, since vampires are a main point of the story.

A subtle detail is the way the direction of the gradient on the C is reversed in comparison to the rest of the letters, giving it a subtle yet lovely contrast.

Biohazard, alternately known as Resident Evil, is a game series about the hopelessness of a zombie apocalypse, the logo in a bold red and bleeding into a horrified looking eye thats meshing with their tears. That loud typeface coupled with the illustration does wonders to show the viewer the themes behind this series.

While watching a thrilling show or movie, you wouldn't want text any more loud or im your face than this, white so its easy to see, and just boring enough not to distract you from the content on screen. I believe it serves an underrated purpose.

Disco Elysium is a game packed full of wordy dialogue that I love thats almost fully narrated, but, I feel as if there is a flaw in the way this is setup. The purple, among other colored nametags, is a scarce motif within this game. I had trouble following at times due to the text for your character being low opacity grey, sneaking behind the walls of stark white text. Worst of all, that is the only text within the game that isn't spoken aloud.

I actually had this kit as a kid and was obsessed with this guy, so seeing it in the thrift store brought up some memories. The font itself was memorable because of all of the typical gothic motifs: upside down cross in the N of angel, pointed dripping lettering quite literally showing edginess, and the white fading into black. This guys entire gimmick was the stereotypical scary goth, so it all fit the style perfectly.

While crowded, I think the different types of fonts used here give off a cute and farm-like vibe that the brand wants you to feel upon looking at their product. It feels homemade despite being mass produced. I also find it important that the "naturally flavored" part of the text is the most legible on the page aside from the brand name itself.

I always thought the typewriter font has been worn out and overused for brand logos, but here we are. I think I understand what they were going for - the period after A might mean that since its the start of a new sentence, it symbolizes the start of a "new day". I think iyd tacky, there too much white space, and reads as cheap.

I love the color pallet used here, the loudest word in the loudest red, in the boldest type and in the boldest part of the page. Anything in the middle of a design is almost guaranteed to draw the readers eye to it first. Although I love this and the illustration above it, it takes away from the information that the post was trying to share in the first place because of how squished together the rest of the text is.

I like that the simple bold pink underline emphasizes the ALL, it shows that you don't need to increase the size of a type or change the font in order to express the emotion you are trying to portray within a piece of text. Its all the same font, the same size as SIPS, yet the underline makes it sound more like "we have ALL the sips" vs "you can have all the sips you want".

Something about this reads as an album cover from a boy band that opens for Arctic Monkeys. On a serious note, I think the misaligned text gimmick can be used well, but paired up with the boring all-lower case type face almost makes it feel self-important and pretentious. I'm not sure where that feeling comes from.

I both hate and like this. I'd hate it for sure if this wasn't just a typical graphic design gimmick fast food chains tend to use often to cover up their brown paper bags and isn't attempting to be a useful list. It works, but its painfully overused.
