the colours helped because the world evil was coloured red which really made me think of mad and anger but then when it showed the word good it was blue and to me that meant cool and more relaxed. the illustrations also helped because the good wolf looked strong and proud and then the evil wolf looked like it was ready to fight.

The colours helped my understanding. The wolf called Evil had mundane brown colours, the wolf called Good had bright blue colours. This contrast helped me understand which one was prefered.

The wolf called Evil was snarling and looked unhappy. The wolf called Good looked proud and strong.

The different colour of text bubbles helped me distinguish easily between the two characters.

Along with the bold names of the wolves to make a point. It attracts the eye. This helped me understand these names were very important.

The difference in fonts when the Cherokee Elder spoke about the evil and good wolves within us (Evil = harsh, red, not good, Good = smooth, purple...). This helps me understand the story better as it puts importance on these different wolves.
The graphics associated with the different wolves (the evil wolf appears to be money hungry with the expression on its face with a pile of money near it, whereas the good wolf appears to be calm and collected). This helps me better understand the story as it visually represents how these wolves make us act.
The facial expressions in the second picture show how the Elder really wants the younger boy to understand her words and expects him to listen to what she is saying. The shadows combined with her face being quite zoomed-in on add to the intensity of it all.

The money sitting in front of the wolf is a good demonstration of the kind of greed spoken about in the story. the snarl, sharp teeth, dark rough fur and low ears and tail give us the idea that the wolf is defensive, greedy and angry as it guards its belongings showing greed.

The use of font, colour and writing styles. Words like "Good" and "Evil" are in much bigger text sizes and have stand-out fonts. As well as the use of the visual of each wolf. Evil snarling and Good isn't. Simple as that, also the use of visual art styles as the wolves are the center of the graphic novel.

EVIL in the color red and the bigger size of font could represent a large amount of anger. GOOD in the purple color and the bigger sized font could mean its important.

The colours in the images as well as the expressions on the characters, and animals. You can tell from the second image that the Cherokee Elder has a concerned expression on her face. The expressions on the EVIL wolf shows how he is angry, rather the expression on GOOD is nice and kind.
