One thing that surprised me was how many new things there are to try in my classroom. I think the best part of the whole class was being exposed to all of the technologies and being able to try them in my classroom.

Takeaway:  The course was a great way to push yourself outside of your comfort zone and not have to worry about falling flat on your face. I loved reading the text and talking to my tech team about how to change the way we think about technology with our digital students.
Surprising twist:  I found the discussions the most enjoyable.  I love learning at my own pace, but found that learning from others was a great way learn about how other districts do things.  The cohort I had with my discussion partner was very insightful.

Takeaway: The course was the push I need to try, experiment, and give a different approach with using more technology in my classroom a better chance and not worry about what the outcome could be and to just go for it. Module 4-5 was the ideas, tools, that I plan on using the most in my future as a teacher with the video features. The feedback from students was tremendous and encouraging. The Surprising thing for me was all the various and numerous different tools, applications which some never heard of in my teaching so far. Technology is evolving quickly.

Side Note: I enjoyed the discussions our group had and I wish everyone the best.

I have learned so much that it is hard to pick only one thing. I would however say that the one technology that stands out and is something I have already used two times, is Kahoot. My students love it, they think its a game all while we practice essential learning skills. Like others have said, I too enjoyed the discussions and learning about our experiences and being able to bounce ideas off of each other. Thanks everybody!

My takeaway:  It is very difficult for me to pick one thing from this course.  I enjoyed the wide variety of technology applications and tools that I was able to use in my classroom.  It made me a better teacher and made my students better learners.  I felt accomplished in the fact that I was able to become more digitally literate in presentation tools, video recording devices, and become more fluent with technological assessments.  This was a great class with a wealth of edtech knowledge  that I will continue to use.
