         <description><![CDATA[<div>This was seen in the activity Hoop &amp; Marker when the hoop balanced on the glass jar, and when the marker was balanced on the hoop. My explanation for this being a balanced force is, there was ØN, causing the hoop and marker to not move, and stay in place. This connects to Newton's First Law of Motion because the object is at rest, but when we removed the hoop in a certain way, the marker stayed in the same position but went down and fell into the glass jar perfectly. </div>]]></description>

This relates back to Newton's First Law of Motion because it is at the utensils are at rest, and in Newton's law, an object is AT REST and remains that way until an unbalanced force acts upon the object.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This was seen in Tablecloth Magic when we removed the hoop, and the glass jar had stayed in the same spot, even when the marker landed inside it because the jar is heavier, so it has more inertia than the marker, therefore making it harder to move. This goes back to Newton's First Law of Motion because inertia is technically a faster way to say it, and the mass (measure of inertia) of the glass jar is more than that of the marker.</div>]]></description>
