These could be grouped - e.g. "majestic, epic, exciting" "sad, melancholic" as a way of remembering what words we can use to describe a song

Key Concepts of - Form & Connection

Children create their own countries in groups. They name them, create a flag and the laws (could go further to create a human rights code)

Key Concepts - Connection, Function and Reflection.

Students are to create their own body percussion composition in pairs to tell a story or demonstrate the lyrics to a  popular song.

Connection - Students create their own system for writing down their compositions. Similarities - Differences with other methods of writing down music.

Function - The different sounds that are available using our bodies - The chest as a bass drum, clappinpg is like a snare etc....

Reflection - Evaluate one other groups piece, offer 2 things you like one thing that could be improved upon.
