It was always a week or two before school started.  This allowed me to get know students and them to get to know eachother  if they were coming from different middle schools. We did team building activities, talked about strategies to be successful in school, resources, and we even got their schedules and did a tour of the high school. It was so fun and helped students feel confident coming in to a new school. I’m happy to share resources.
