I will never forget the moment I stood on that trembling stage. My hands shook as I tried to calm the storm inside me. The spotlight seemed to stop time, freezing the sea of expectant faces before me. I couldn’t help regretting not practicing more, yet there was no turning back. Slowly, I began speaking, my voice cracking but steadying with each word. I’ll always remember the thunderous applause that followed, a reward for not giving up. From that day, I’ve embraced trying new challenges, knowing fear must never stop me from growing into my best self.

I still remember the first time I encountered basketball. My grandmother brought me to the Central Park and it was my first time to play basketball. I tried to grasp the rules which could let me know more about basketball. Sometimes, I would stop to ask question ,but I stop doing this because I don’t want to look foolish. When I started to know how to play, I began to understand the strategies and the teamwork involved. I realised I had not reason regret playing basketball this was a thrilling experience.

My mum decided to cook pasta for my breakfast on the first day of school after the Christmas holiday. The pasta seemed perfect paired with a soft-boiled egg, and also included a small apple. I started eating my breakfast; however, a black spot caught my attention on the pasta. I stopped to observe it, and I will never forget seeing it in my food — it was a fruit fly. So I was worried about having a stomachache.

As the sun set, I sat at the table, staring at the plate of honeyed bees before me. This unusual adventure was about to begin, but I hesitated to make the move. The thought of dislike eating something made my stomach churn. I tried to forget the buzzing creatures, wishing to avoid the experience. Yet, I couldn’t stop myself from remembering the words my father said, he keeps on suggesting me to. I knew I might regret this decision, but I had to admit my curiosity was stronger. With a deep breath, I took a bite, and to my surprise, sweetness burst into my mouth.

Walking into the cafe, I tried to enjoy the happy sounds of laughter around me. I wanted to forget how nervous I felt about seeing my friend again after so many years. My mind was full of memories, and I remembered our last goodbye when we promised to stay in touch but lost contact instead.

I decided to stop worrying about what to say. When I spotted her at a table, my heart raced. I felt regret that we missed the time, but I decided to push that thought away. We hugged tightly, and in that moment, all my worries disappeared. We started talking, sharing stories and laughter, and I was surprised at how easily we fell back into our friendship.

I enjoy talking about old times. I remember cherishing the people who matter most. We promised not to let so much time pass again, eager to avoid feeling sad about lost moments.

One sunny afternoon, I decided to try baking a cake. I had watched so many cooking shows that I thought it would be easy. But as I gathered my ingredients, I forgot to measure the sugar. Instead of a cup, I poured in half a bag!

When I realized my mistake, I tried to stop myself, but it was too late. The batter looked more like a sticky mess than cake mix. I thought, "What could go wrong?" So I poured it into the pan and set it in the oven, completely forgetting about it as I got distracted by a TV show.

When the timer went off, the smell in the kitchen was strange. I rushed in to find my cake had risen so much that it spilled over the sides like a volcano. It looked quite funny but I still felt a bit of regret for not paying attention.

I tried to fix it by cutting off the burnt parts and decorating it. When I served it to my family, they couldn’t stop laughing. They called it "the sweetest disaster ever."

In the end, I have learnt that even when things go wrong, it can still be a fun memory. I might have forgotten the measurements, but I will always remember the laughter we shared over that funny cake!

I still remember trapping under a bridge when I was a kid. Right after I finished my bowling class and ready to go home, a massive amount of water droplets began falling from the sky, immediately flooding the floor. I stopped running to stay under a bridge nearby. Looking at the cats and dogs outside without cease, I regret not bringing an umbrella when I headed for my classes. My whole body was soaked wet, and I remember using my shivering fingers to press on the phone and call to my mom for help. About half an hour later, the intensive rainfall began to fade away, creating a pathway for me to head to the bus station. Without hesitation, I rushed to the bus station in lightning speed.

An Unforgettable Memory

One summer when I was a kid, my family and I went to the beach. I remember enjoying the sound of the waves and feeling the warm breeze on my face. We decided to build a sandcastle, and I was really excited to join in, appreciating the fun of working together.

As we poured water on the sand, I paid close attention to how it looked. But then the tide started to come in, and I watched sadly as our castle began to wash away. No matter how hard we tried to save it, it was gone in no time. I felt a little regret for all the effort we put in.

Looking back now, I appreciate that day because it taught me to enjoy the little moments. Life is full of these brief experiences, and it’s important to make the most of them, as they become our cherished memories.

It was 4 years old, and I still remember getting lost in my Mom and trying to go home by myself. One night, she took me to a park, and then she was chatting with her friends while I was cheering in the playground. After a few hours, she told me to stop playing. At that time, my Mom told me to follow in her footsteps but I lost her after walking over a crowd. Looking at the racing car on the road and hearing the sounds of people coming and going, I decided to begin my way to go home. I tried to let the cars stop to pass through the zebra crossing. It was like an adventure since I had to decide which direction to go. When I opened the door and entered my home, my Mom had already got home earlier than me. My parents stopped shouting and began to feel fortunate for my safe walk. Although I think it is just a tiny thing, my Mom might not forget to look after me wherever I went before I was 10 years old.

I won't forget the moment of having my first airplane trip when I was 8 years old. The night before, my anticipation rose to the peak of Mount Everest. I couldn't stop imagining how stunning it will be when I am above the clouds. The day finally reached at a snail's pace. I remember dashing to the boarding gate that day. After entering into the airplane, I were full of the joys of spring. It wasn't until the engine sound crammed my ears, my fingertips started to tremble. I tried to take a deep breath but unluckily it didn't work. My mom regret to tell me that it was about to take off along with teasing. As it took off, the high air pressure squeezed me. I wasn't even able to talk and breathe, I kept my eyes tight shut. After a few second, the plane turned to be steady. I heaved a sigh of relief and started enjoying the spectacular view out of the small window.

The most unforgettable moment was my first harp class. I remember feeling nervous but excited as I decided to try learning something new. My teacher asked me to sit straight and carefully pluck each string. Though I struggled at first, I refused to stop practicing. I couldn’t wait to play the instrument well and, despite the challenge, I continued. I’ll never forget the soft, soothing sound when I finally played a simple tune. While I regret not starting earlier, I can’t bear the thought of giving up now. This experience taught me to enjoy the process and reminded me that with patience, every challenge can turn into a beautiful melody.

One of my most unforgettable moments happened during a family trip to the mountains. I remember starting the day with excitement as the crisp morning air filled my lungs. My father suggested bringing some snacks and a camera, knowing we’d want to capture the beauty of the landscape. As we hiked up the trail, I tried taking pictures of everything—the towering trees, bubbling streams, and even tiny flowers. It felt like I was learning to appreciate nature in a way I never had before. The sunlight danced through the leaves, creating golden patterns on the ground, and I couldn’t stop admiring the scenery. The view from the top was breathtaking, and I promised myself never to forget that moment.

However, there was one mistake I regret making that day. I had forgotten to wear proper hiking shoes, which made the rocky path slippery and dangerous. I remember almost falling twice, which made my parents worry. They kept trying to warn me, but I was too focused on enjoying the adventure to listen. Despite the small mishap, those moments taught me to be more prepared for future trips. Looking back, this experience wasn’t just about the hike—it was about learning to cherish every moment, even the little ones, and turning challenges into stories to remember.

It was an ordinary evening study session and a few of our best friends quit having it, we risk to scolding by teachers. We were running out of classroom, and all of us tried running fast as we can. Then we stop to look up the starts, they were countless. And I Still remembered feeling of having that moment, the night wind was so gentle that blew the ends of my hair. We all enjoy running without annoyance, and that made the moments irreplaceable, that was the moment I felt freedom and youth. Even at last we were still punished by the teacher but I'm not regretted to have this moment.

Lights, crowd, stage. It was a moment when I was standing on stage, competing with my teammates. We insisted on thriving on the podium, therefore, we were focused, calm, and firm.

"Last question!" The MC announced. My heart couldn't stop pouncing as we were about to fulfill our dream and finally finish preparing day after night. I was so nervous that I accidentally pressed the answering machine.

"Team 3! Please give us your answer." My world turned black and white. I was not capable of answering the question, nor was I familiar with solving the accurate words.

The result was horrible. At that moment, I was ashamed of pressing the button, regretted having that confidence, and blamed myself for ruining the hope of all team members.

It was definitely an unforgettable moment, and I will never forget to think before doing work so that I can fill in the missing stone in my heart named regret.

When it comes to unforgettable moments, I immediately remember this year’s Christmas when my mom and I decided to take a trip to Guangzhou. My mom didn't forget my favorite activity – skiing. When she told me a few days before, I was absolutely thrilled. For those days leading up to the trip, I couldn't stop talking about how I was finally going to go skiing to anyone who would listen!

I tried to persuade her to join me on the slopes, but she didn’t go, possibly because she was afraid or didn’t like the cold. I regret not convincing her to ski with me.

At Guangzhou Rongchuang, every ski trip down is an exciting adventure. The sound of skis on the snow makes my heart race, and my nose and hands turn red from the cold, but it doesn't take away my love for skiing. Each ride is full of joy and fun, with laughter and cheers all around, making me want to stay longer.

I was sleeping as normal, suddenly, my stomach felt like a stormy sea, continuously churning and rolling, with each wave cresting and crashing inside me. I couldn't endure the pain so I woke up and sat on my bed. After resting for a while, the storm in my stomach seemed to calm, but the pain still lingered, like a distant thunder rumbling through the waves. It seemed my restless movements woke my mom; sensing my discomfort, she stopped to take me to see the doctor in the stillness of 2 a.m.

The doctor told me to take those pills and reminded my mom to give me some healthier food for me to eat. My mom agreed to make light food for me. I promised not to eat junk food during the sickness. I appreciate my mom, I love spending time with her. Every moment spent with her is precious because she always tends to my needs with utmost care and affection. As the airplane landed, my heart was pounding so hard while my fingers tapped an uneven rhythm on the edge of my seat. Although we were tired from travelling, inside the stadium was buzzed with an electric energy, when the banners waved like flags of the pound army, and everyone was cheering passionately for their country’s athlete, creating a vibrant atmosphere of national pride and excitement. Also, that night will forever be etched in my memory, filled with laughter and the thrill of playing a whirlwind of crazy games, each moment bursting with joy. Last but not least, we enjoyed having competition together and keep hoping for the next time.

I still remember that winter vacation in elementary school when my family and I went to Harbin. It was a very cold day, and seeing the snow with my own eyes felt unreal. Perhaps it was because it was my first experience with snow that I couldn’t stop smiling.

I loved playing in the snow for hours, making snowballs and having fun. Climbing a snow mountain in Harbin was another incredible adventure. The snow scenery on the mountain was so beautiful that I couldn’t help but enjoy every moment.

As the trip came to an end, I felt a sense of regret leaving such a magical place. I knew I would miss the snow and the joy it brought me. If I ever get the chance to return, I hope to experience that wonder again, and I can’t wait for another opportunity to play in the snow!

An Unforgettable Moment

There are moments in life you can never forget. For me, it was the first time I performed a dragon lion dance on opening day at our school.

I can still remember stepping into the colorful costume, my heart pounding like a drum. The crowd was huge, and I couldn’t stop thinking about the possibility of messing up. My partner and I had spent weeks trying to perfect every move, but fear crept in as the music started.

As the drums thundered, I focused on the rhythm and began moving. Slowly, my nerves melted away, and excitement took over. The crowd cheered as we leapt and swirled, the dragon’s head swaying gracefully. In that moment, I knew I would never regret trying.

That day taught me courage, and it’s a memory I’ll always remember. Performing as part of the dragon lion was more than a dance—it was a triumph over fear.

Trees are dancing, the sun is shining, and there I was, complaining about having to climb this much. Although I’ve forgotten the details, what ive said isn’t exactly nice for my age. A few hours later, we reached the summit. Again, remember things from a decade back is hard, but I’m pretty sure my younger self just stupped up there, staring at the ant-sized city below, unable to process how much I have achieved. The freezing winds blowing against my face is kind of a wake-up call though, because it’s just a small mountain in Macau, after all.

As the autumn leaves began to forget their vibrant green, turning to shades of orange and red, John stood at his window, trying to remember to water the plants he had neglected. He stopped, gazing at the withering flowers, regretting not tending to them sooner. The chill in the air was a stark reminder of the season's change, and with it, the need to prepare for the coming winter.
