No Language Centre at the university. There is a National Language centre with two physical sites: one at the Univerity of Copenhague and the other at Aarhus University (the Director is Hanne Wacher Kjærgaard – hwk@cc.au.dk) -

This centre does not offer language courses; its main mission is to improve the position of offering languages at the national level (implementing advocacy and development projects, not educational activities). The centre is not part of Aarhus University officially.

This year, for the first time in Denmark, the government allocated an amount of money to launch language courses (we have started with German and French) as optional for university students. The Department of German and Romanic languages at Aarhus University is the one in charge of implementing these courses. Susana Silvia Fernandez (WP6) works in this department. The Head of the department is Kirsten Wølch Rasmussen - (kwr@cc.au.dk).

• 2 June 2022, UiO: How to prepare for the next pandemic? The COVID-19 pandemic has infected at least 500 million people and killed more than six million. • 28 March 2022: Driving pedagogical innovation. How can active student engagement in research improve the quality of education? Learn from colleagues at King’s College London and the University of Oslo.  

SEVIL = Sustainable Education Video Interviews Library

In the project SEVIL, students have edited the videoed interviews they conducted for the COSE project that exemplify outstanding innovations in sustainable education (1 Above). They have provided summaries and key words and designed the materials as a resource for educational developments in CU.
