  • Write down your protagonist's DEFINING QUALITY. How would anyone describe your protagonist? What is the prominent trait of his personality? What kind of person is your protagonist?

  • What is the OPPOSITE QUALITY of the quality you listed in #1?

  • Write a scene in which your protagonist actively demonstrates the OPPOSITE quality that you listed in #2.

    • Extend writing: Define a secondary character quality, write down the opposite; write a paragraph in which the character does the opposite. In the same way, open third and fourth dimensions to your protagonist.
