In one of my walks, jumping from one thought to another, then seeing a lady take her dog out on a walk at night, I remembered how taking my dog out on walks allowed me to routinely go out from the environment of my home where now in hindsight, I was mentally limited to think of my basic independence to go outside. This changed when I took my new dog then on walks.  
Suddenly an image popped into my mind.
A recollection of my room which I made space for myself, the ventilator signifying the small hole I viewed the world from. The safe but restrictive space my parents made for me. In contrast to my experience her in this city.
