Mrs. Slough and Group (example)

Writing Score- We gave the writer a score of a 5 for the writing. This was because we felt that they did a very good job, but we thought that they could have improved their word choice to have a more sophisticated tone. For example, they used the word good three different times. They could have changed that word to excellent or phenomenal to create a more interesting tone.

language score- 4- we did not see any significant issues with their grammar or mechanics.

Writing score- We gave the writer a score of 4 because they included examples, but did not explain their points. They structure was adequate. We felt as if the student could have elaborated further on her examples. We also felt the student could have had better conclusions on their paragraphs. Grammar score- We give the student 4 on grammar. There were not too many mistakes.

Language score- We gave the writer a 3. It was written decently with okay spelling, but has some issues. They were not fluent in their writing, used many fragments, and grammar and spelling were off.

Writing score- We gave the writer a 4. They only used one piece of evidence for each body paragraph. They used little to no transition words and had poor word choice. The evidence they did use supported their claim and the claim made sense.

Writing Score- We gave the writer a score of 4 for the writing part. There position is unclear, and there is a lack of evidence. Also, simple vocabulary is used, and it is not organized in a way where it enhances the meaning.

Language Score- 3- There are minor spelling errors, and the 4th paragraph has many sentence structure errors.
