“After every game or practice, if you walk
off the field knowing you have gave everything you had, you will always be a
winner.” I chose this quote because, even though you have not received the
results you wanted after doing all you could do, you have to let it go to
remain sane, even though it is difficult to. - Griffith

“I believe the
ability can get you to the top, but it takes character to keep you there.”

While it is
true that ability plays a role in getting you where you want to be, character
is what enables and enhances your ability to stay at the top of your game.

In fact for people with the fixed mindset their number one
goal came through load and clear, Revenge. For people with the growth mindset,
the number one goal was forgiveness.

Our students will come in at some point with negative
attitudes or behaviors. If we don’t forgive their negativity will infiltrate
our lives and make us miserable in all aspects of our life. To lead them to
better outcomes as well as ourselves, we must forgive on a daily basis. Revenge
may be sweet in the short come, but it will always leave a bitter taste to us
and our students, whereas forgiveness is bitter at first but leads to a path of
sweet rewards.

However, if you do not take risks, in art or in life, you do not grow, learn, or change...you become stagnant, stale, replaceable, complacent, and uncomfortable as you see others changing . One must venture outside of their comfortable bubble to thrive.

"There is a belief---that success should not need effort---robs people of the very thing they need to make their relationships thrive. It's probably why so many relationships go stale---because people believe that being in love means never having to do anything taxing."
