The fact he works hard to save everyone but they only care about race and not his deeds. Super human by Nicola yoon starts with a teenage girl named syrita talking about the hero X who is threatening to destroy humanity. In the middle of the story Syrita is in X’s apartment she is trying to convince him to not destroy At the end she falls off a building to test X then the story ends.  A quote that connects to me is “ I got shot…by a cop” this quote shows that he was mistreated and the reason was after we found out he got shot for being black. So he got shot for being black and it shows he was mistreated for something that is natural and you can’t change. This connects to me because I've been mistreated for something I can’t change so I can relate to how he feels.

This song is very energetic and makes me excited and it’s nostalgic. When I listen to this song it helps me remember to live my life with no regrets and to not waste my life and make sure people don’t waste their own. This shows in the beginning of the song where it says “ I don’t want to be on the ground when the time flies had so many friends goin, “wonder when it’s my time” I live everyday like I die by the night time it took me so long getting back to my right mind”. In the song Rico talks about how he doesn’t want to waste his life on the floor being sad but he wants to do something with what he has. He also talks about his life when he says “I live everyday like I’ll die by the night time” which shows he lives everyday like it’s his last. Because you can’t live your life if you're stuck in the past waiting for it to get better. This is an important message because It shows you can live life no matter what even if something bad is happening. It's important to others because people could be going through a tough time and they can use this song to find out that even if times are hard don’t waste your life thinking about it but use your life to do more to help you and your community.

Patrick Mahomes is the quarterback for my favorite NFL team the Kansas City Chiefs  he went to texas tech for college where he played QB and he played Pitcher in baseball which made him a NFL draft prospect and a MLB one. Patrick is the best QB in the league and he uses every mistake as an opportunity to get better. I know this from when he said “Every experience , good or bad , you have to learn from”. This shows he learned from his mistakes and kept training and training to get to the position he’s in now. He is very successful and has changed many lives. Mahomes' deeper message is that you should keep trying and even if you don’t get it at first that only means there is more room for improvement and you can get help from your team because there is no I in team.
