2012: Jail time for my dad

I realize it's really dark. However, when my father went to jail, I was just six years old, which was quite confusing for me. My mother told me for a long time that he was at camp. So for a long time, I assumed he was at boot camp until I grew up and learned otherwise. However, this taught me that you must appreciate every moment with the person you love.

2013 : Meet my amazing step dad

When I met my stepdad I felt like i had someone who cared and it was really nice to have that father figure around. Teaching me life lessons and how to handle "stupid little boys". My step dad taught me my self worth and how much I should actually take care of myself.

2014: My little sister was born

Best day ever. I love having a little sister. Now I have three little sisters but a while it was me and heaven and it was nice having someone who admires me and looks up to me. This made start doing better in school and actually trying because i wanted my little sister to have a good role model.

2017-2018

During my 6 grade year which was a hard year and general but I learned a lot about myself during this time. I learned how much I loved art and how i wanted to get better at it. I started hanging with my best friend from when I was 4 more and we grew a strong bond.

2019-2020

This was my 8th grade year well half of it before covid hit and everyone was sent home and not allowed to barely speak to one another. This impacted me a lot it took time before I could hold normal conversations without getting anxious. I also spent my freshman year on a laptop.

2021

My stepdad passed away. This was hard for the whole family it felt like losing my dad twice. We've grown as a family sense then.

2021-2022

Experienced a school shooting, that I loss a friend in. experience being bullied by people I thought where my friends . however during this year I was strongest because of all the things I faced. by the end of the year I was in 3 National Honor Societies and president of one. This taught me that I could overcome anything and come out stronger.

2024

This was my senior year this was hard for me because everything was ending so fast and i didn't feel like I had long enough to hold on to it. During this process of transforming myself to a soon to be college student. Our landlord sold our house that we had been living in for 8 years. after I moved in college i never went back to that house.

during this time I found my love for cheer. I cheered all the way through middle school and high school. Cheer taught me how to fail and get up again and fail more and more and more. However I learned that those failures allow me to be able to fall and not hesitate to try again. I also LEGALLY changed my name

I was born in Winston Salem, NC. I have 3 brothers and 1 step brother and 4 sisters and one step sister. Im the middle child though.
