(Think SPICE themes)&nbsp;</p></li></ol><p>There was controversy over the issue because it made Britain look strong enough to work on their own, but it also weakened them by cutting the ties of the nations surrounding them, and creating tension.</p><ol start="3"><li><p>How is this an anti-globalization response?&nbsp;</p></li></ol><p>Because now Britain cut themselves off from the nations that they are the closest to.</p><ol start="4"><li><p>What happened as a result of this response?</p></li></ol><p>The UK economy took a blow. Imported food price inflated, it piled costs on UK businesses and weighed on trade, investment, and economic growth.</p>]]></description>
