This topic is something that I could easily implement in my classroom. It is simple enough that my preschoolers would be able to understand it and add their own spin on it. They could choose the book they want to act out.

After reading a chosen book, allow the students to get into smaller groups with a teacher and have them create a skit for part of the book.

Give the students paper, makers, scissors, tape, etc. to create their letters. Have them make the letters large enough to use as "costumes" to do an alphabet skit or parade.

Read Chicka-Chicka-Boom-Boom and then have the students create their own version of the book, or let them create a tree and letters to put on a wall in the classroom.
