We listen to the playback and then analyze what we hear and determine ways to make our performance better, stronger, more expressive, etc. We can also analyze our visual performance and determine what we look like - how we are standing, etc. We make one recording early and then another a week before the concert and compare the recordings to see how much we have improved.]]> 2017-04-13 15:58:41 UTC https://padlet.com/mbrehm/MilanThink/wish/166278074 alecia_fryman https://padlet.com/mbrehm/MilanThink/wish/166278192 In preparing for the AP Calculus Test we do Jig Saw Multiple Choice Days.  Students get 12 multiple choice questions.  They are divided into groups of 2 to 3 and assigned 4 problems per group.  They are given 12-15 minutes.  At the end of the time, they are regrouped so that each new group has one "expert" for each of the 12 questions.  Then they work together to finish up the quiz.  They are talking the whole time and reevaluating their work from the first group, sometimes calling across the room, "I think we did #4 wrong". Once the quiz is graded I know right away where they need extra instruction.

They can only use items in the classroom, random materials, sewing equipment, etc that are in the FACS classroom.
