I played competitive volleyball for about 12 years. I was on the top team for my age group for club every year that I played. I played outside, right side, libero, and DS. we would travel all around the United States playing in tournaments. 

I went to California, Las Vegas, and Reno, Idaho, Montana, Washington, Florida, multiple times a year. 

it was probably the best times of my life and i wanted to play it professionally but my plans changed.

I always loved cooking ever since I was in 7th grade when we had to take cooking classes is when I really started to enjoy cooking, and I took all the cooking classes available to me. In my senior year, I had an internship at Little America and then the head chef offered me a job and said I was one of the best interns he ever had and that I was one of his favorites.

I really love making my own pasta and sauces to go with it. I'm in the culinary program here at slcc and I loved learning how to make all the different kinds of meats, how to debone a chicken, how to butcher meats, and how to make baked goods such as danishes and eclairs. I even took cosine and culture classes so I took the French cooking and a lot of that cooking you use wines. 

In French foods, they didn't always look that great but they tasted amazing!

I have been going there with my family ever since I was born. my family has a house boat, wave runners and a speed boat.

One of my favorite things to do there is wake board as shown in the photo above. I love tubbing, Cliff jumping and going on hikes there as well as playing horse shoes with my family or playing volleyball on the beach. 

I have the best memories being there and Lake Powell is where I really knew how much I loved the water, oceans, lakes etc.
