They are my F2F scholars and were extremely reluctant to comply. I had 3 out of 8 students to turn it on. Out of the 3 students, only one faced the camera. I learned that I need to be a tad more considerate of their circumstances at home. Especially on Day One!! If grading for accuracy of the assignment, then it should fall under formative.
