you could maybe memorise your speech and if you havent dont look at the paper too often because then your contact with the audience wont be as good as it would be. rule number 2 is make sure that every word you say is understandable so people understand what you are saying loud and clear 3 is dont speak too fast 4 dont include any message that indicates a rude meaning or people will start getting offended and rule number 5 is maybe if you could maybe you can make for example a few questions that you can use a projector for and project them on a board for people to answer

1. You need to know your speech off by heart so you can use more hand gestures which engage the audience.
2. You need to have a loud voice, a way of practicing this is by looking at the back of the room and trying to talk to that wall so your voice reaches everyone.
3. If you are trying to persuade people you need to use persuasive techniques like adjectives, alliteration, emotive words etc.
4. Don't waffle and engage with the audience, for example you might point to specific people and move about the stage if you can just to keep the audience intact and so they agree with you.
5. BoJo kept stuttering, had a boring voice and was going a bit slow in his speech so you've got to do the opposite. Make sure you know what you're going to say and keep a steady pace when speaking, also make your voice animated and loud and add a little humor to your speech as well to lighten the mood and not make the atmosphere so serious.

He also did not make direct eye contact with the camera, instead he kept looking down at his speech paper. He repeated a few lines during the speech and he also said uh in one line after every word. He also near the end kept tapping his hand near the Mic on the pedestal which, when having up at full volume, is hard to hear him. He also took a few more unnecessary pauses during the speech.

1. Know the main points of your speech - If you at least know the main points then improvising will be a lot easier and this can also help the tone of your voice. By reading a memorised speech you are more likely to keep the monotonousness of your voice

2. Eye contact - Keeping eye contact with your audience whether it be a camera or a crowd is very important. Eye contact shows confidence in the speaker and the use of this technique is especially useful when the purpose of your speech is to persuade.

3. Posture - When you are saying a speech posture is very important. Keeping good posture during your speeches show that you are confident of what you're saying.

4. Tone - The tone of your voice when saying your speech is also a key detail. No one wants to listen to an emotionless speech, it gets boring after a while. Your tone should be enthusiastic and engaging so the audience will actually want to hear what you have to say.

5. Gestures - Hand gestures help keep the audience engaged. It also helps emphasise the more important parts of your speech.

-1 - The way you speak and your tone makes a big effect on the way people understand it if you seem confident and talk in a confident tone people are going to believe you and want to follow you because you look like you know what you're doing.
-2 - You should use hand gestures to get your point across because even though you aren't touching the audience or actually interacting with them it shows them again that you know what you are doing and it engages with them.
-3 - Explain your key points first then elaborate later, talk briefly about the main topics first because then more people will want to listen because they might have heard something that interests them.
-4 - use good vocabulary, nobody will want to listen to you if it doesn't sound nice, it needs to sound sophisticated and professional becuase then people will believe you.
-5 - keep it short and interesting, be factual, don't lie to appease the audience it needs to be truthful because then people will listen. Also be reassuring, outline the things that are mostimportant and what youre doing to help them.

1. To have a structure in the speech when writing it all presenting it. You need to explain what you are trying to say first and then give more information on the topic later on in the speech. Also before you give your information to the public always make sure it is true otherwise you can get yourself in trouble when people find out it is fake.
2. You need to be confident and need to speak clearly as mumbling and stuttering will make you sound not persuasive.
3. Keep eye contact with the camera, people. If you keep looking around the room people will get the sign saying you are not really interested in the speech. Also if you keep looking down at your speech page it will seem like your nervous and you may blank out.
4. You should memorise as much of the speech of by heart to prevent stutters and to keep eye contact better.
5. Don't make speeches drag on for 50 minutes, keep them short as the more shorter speech you have the more interested people will be. The speech also needs to be detailed in besides being short. Know who your presenting it to as well. If you are making a speech to a group of children, make the words in the speech simple funny but if your presenting to address a matter to the public, make it presented well and clean.

Kalina Sliz - 5 Rules That Help Create a Good Speech

1. You have to choose a main topic - essentially the 'heart of the matter' - that you will then explain in more detail. If you have a whole list of points that you are planning to recite, then you won't have enough time to truly 'make your point' as you will lose your audience before you get the chance.

2. Use references and examples to keep people interested. Most of all, know your audience - if you are presenting to children: try to make jokes or at least lighten up the subject if it is a topic that is too grave and solemn to joke about.
If you are delivering a speech to people of higher authority - show respect, but confidence as well, so that they may learn to respect you too. If you are speaking to your colleagues: don't let them get bored listening to you; keep them intrigued.

A good public speaker always has the audience riveted - even if some of the people in the audience don't agree with what they are saying, the orator has them engrossed.

3. Use factual information. Be genuine and don't lie. You want the audience to trust you.

4. Try your best to memorise your speech; as you are reciting it - you want to maintain eye contact with the audience, and if you are constantly referring to your speech notes, there is no way that you can look at the audience all the time.

5. You need to be confident. Believe in yourself and believe in the words that will be coming out of your mouth. If you cannot bring yourself to recite the speech; then that most definitely means that something is wrong. Either you are just not the right person to be reciting a speech, or the speech is wrongly written.
You yourself have to be convinced by what you are saying; otherwise, there is no way that you will be able to persuade an entire audience.
