1.    You get what you give

 

Always believe that what you put into life is what get out of life. You get what you give. If you want to make those times, then you need to put effort into it and earn them.This is a powerful quote because it recognizes people’s individual ability to change their life from whatever it is, to what they truly want it to be. However, in order to create change, one must make change. No one has control over your life but yourself, and in order to change your life, you must make the effort to do it yourself.

 

2.    Never Give up

 

There are many reasons for not giving up in life. (i)You should be happy. Never let anybody tell you otherwise. You deserve happiness and success. Keep this disposition far up high and never give up until the point when you achieve your goal. (ii) Be strong.you are stronger than you might suspect. Some little disappointments are insufficient to prevent you from accomplishing your objectives. Your objectives are far more prominent than the majority of the doubts. Always remind yourself of your potential and the great things you are capable of and you will never give up. (iii) Get Inspired. Raise Others. Bea living motivation for others and never give up. Who knows what another person can accomplish by listening to your motivational stories how it was extremely hard and you still never gave up, however you never collapsed and succeeded! Gain from the best and get it going! And afterward, inspire others to go past their own points of confinements. whatever your goal is, never to give up– it is possible to accomplish it. (iv) Make yourself visible.The road to progress is filled with challenges. Continuously. You must be brave and never give up. No chance to play it modest and undetectable. Leave the shadow and show yourself to the world. You can and will accomplish all you need since you’ve chosen to do as such.

 

3.    Love the Knowledge

As a human being, knowledge is very important to survive in this world. Do not limit yourself in getting new knowledge. Without knowledge, we are nothing. In a way, all living being have their own knowledge, and in their own way, they are able to gain, use and take advantage of it in their own ways. As well as to share it with other. Education gives us knowledge of the world around us and changes it into something better. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things. 

 

In university, it is common to teach in a large class. Therefore, for a new lecturer it is important to be well prepared in organizing the course, preparing lecture notes and also structuring a lecture. Let say if the new lecturer assign to teach Construction Measurement for quantity surveying programme, she/he have to decide what content to include in the lecture and organize the topics in a meaningful sequence. For first class of semester, it is important also to provide the students with course plan so that they will aware with what they will learn along the semester. For a new lecturer, it is good to visit the lecture room before the first meeting since she/he not familiar with the place.

 

There are a few strategies that the new lecturers can do to improve their lecture delivering. First, the new lecturer can observe the way excellent lecturer deliver their lecture. This is important to learn something new from excellent lecturer and improve their skills in teaching and learning. Second, we can do the recording in class and watch yourself on video after class. From here we can reflect our self what are the strong and weakness in our lecturer delivering. Third, learn on how not to read your lectures. The new lecturer must know how to present the slide well to capture students interest. For example, if we only read the slide throughout the lecture, students will get bored and hard to focus in class. Therefore, before class, the lecturer need to be well prepared on what they want to teach to avoid read the lecture throughout the class.

 

It is important for a new lecturer to know well how they are going to explain the content of their lecture. There are three (3) ways that new lecturer can applied in their class to explain well the content of lecture. First, aids student comprehension. This strategy can build a prior knowledge and understanding among students and identify points that may be hard for students to understand. The lecturer also must know how to alert the students to the start of a complex point and give opportunities to apply what they have heard or read.
