Have you participated in celebrations in your own community? Compare and contrast these celebrations with Cinco de Mayo celebrations. I celebrate the holiday of St. Patrick's day, which is a celebration of Irish history that commonly remembers St Patrick, who is one of the saints who introduced Christianity to Ireland.  It is similar to Cinco de Mayo because they both celebrate the cultures of each others' respective country.
