When I'm not teaching, I love making the most of my free time. I enjoy going on coffee dates with friends, taking lots of pictures (of myself ^^), or simply watching K-dramas.

-Desks and Chairs: Desks and chairs are often made of wood. They are usually arranged in rows. Two students share a desk and some of them have their own desks and chairs( usually the bottom of class)

- Blackboard and projector: A large blackboard (often chalkboard) is mounted on the front wall of the classroom. This is where the teacher writes notes and explains lessons.

2. The number ss is about 40-50 students /class.

3. Teacher should stand infront of all students, usually on the board ( when teacher teaches target knowlege/ gives instructions/ controls class). Teacher can move around class to help ss with groups works or check ss if they get trouble or difficulties in learning target knowlegde.

4. They are mostly fixed. It takes time when teachers want to move anything because everything is set up carefully and the head teacher will complain a lot if you move thing without permission.

5. There is space for students around but not for everyone.

I think the classroom is pretty wide. There are many windows so that the classrooom is bright and the students have a lot of positive energies. The classroom has 4 rows, each row has about 4 student desks. Each student desk has 2 students.

The teacher stands at the podium or positions around the class.

Most of the time, desks and chairs are fixed. Sometimes, desks and chairs are movable.

Yes, it does. Sometimes, the teacher and the students need to speak more quietly or close the door so the sound doesn't echo outside.

My name is Kim Tan. I'm 44 years old and have been teaching for 20 years at VTV College. This is my first time joining the team at iSMART as a part-time teacher, and I’m excited to embark on this new journey.

1. Divide students into small groups and assign each group a role (air, water, sunlight, nutrients).

2. Provide each group with a scenario card that describes a plant’s situation or problem (e.g., “The plant is not growing well because it lacks sunlight”).

For example, if the teacher says, “Find me a circle,” the students should look for a circular object.Which team can finish it faster will have a star

How to play:

1. Divide class into groups of 5.

2. From a picture of a plant with these 5 parts, teacher create puzzles and give them to each group. One part will be missing.

3. Students need to finish the puzzle and find out which part is missing

- The whole class is broken down into different teams at the outset of the lesson.

- The teacher organizes the slap-the-board game after guiding students through new words. Students raise their hands simultaneously as fast as they can so as to be able to come to the board for the game.

+ At the first round, the teacher reads aloud the relevant word and students have to slap the correct picture.

+ At the second round, the teacher characterizes common actions and sounds of animals, which signals the correct answers among students.

+ Finally, the use of phrases indicating animals’ features such as “long neck” comes as great help. 

Aim: To reinforce the structure in context, and develop reading and listening skills.

• Jumping flashcard: Children can play in group or personal. Teacher can use the block (or hoopla ring), children jump over the block ( into the ring) and name the word one by one. This game, children need to remember the words, speak out, and they also can move while they are playing.
