-The lower class of New Orleans were had the the most impact physically and financially. What made Hurricane katrina so
devastating was the amount of lives lost and homes lost as well.
-On august 2005 Hurricane touched landfall with wind speeds up to 100 miles. 
-A category 5 hit New Orleans.
-Hurricanes use warm, moist air as fuel. That is why they form only over warm ocean waters near the equator.
