The Rhodian Colos is a bronze statue of the sun god Helios, erected in the harbor of Rhodes, on the island of Rhodes in the Aegean Sea. It rose to a height of about 34 meters (112 feet) and was one of the tallest statues of antiquity. One of the Seven Wonders of the World. The statue is a work of Lares' charis and was built between 292 BC. and 280 BC.

After the breakup of the state of Alexander the Macedonian, the rule of Rhodes took Ptolemy I Soter. After his affirmation in Egypt, he signed with the Rhodes Union, controlling trade in the eastern Mediterranean. In 305 BC the son of the other diocese Antigonus I One Okoki - Demetrius I of Macedon, besieged Rhodes with an army of 40,000 people. He held the main town on the island in siege for a whole year. Eventually, he was forced to retreat to Ptolemy's approaching fleet.

The people of Rhodes decided to sell the broken siege cannons and build a statue of the honored sun god Helios to thank for the intercession. Helios was not just a deified goddess on the island - according to legends, it was his creator who had brought him out of the depths of his seas. According to Pliny, Starry sold the remaining weapon for 300 talents and decided to use the money to build a giant statue of their god, Helios.

The Hanging Gardens of Babylon, also known as Semiramis Hanging Gardens, are the third of the Seven Wonders of the World. And to this day, they have not been discovered. They were probably built in Babylon, which was on the territory of today's Iraq.
Most reports indicate that they were built around 575 BC. by King Nebuchadnezzar II, who ruled the city for 43 years, starting in 605 BC. Another theory is that they were built by Assyrian Queen Semiramis, during its 5 years of rule (810 BC). They are terraced and artificially irrigated gardens. According to the legend, Nebuchadnezzar builds them so that his wife, the Persian princess Amitias, who is born of the mountains, is not grieving at home. There is no indication of exactly where they were located. Archaeological finds discovered in Nineveh, a city in northern Iraq, tablets depicting palms on the roofs of individual houses, make experts explore the possibility of the gardens being located in Babylon, a city used as a collection for most of the eastern settlements.
