Sample size is the number of participants in the group which is used in a research that is supposed to represent a specific population the most accurate way possible.
Small sample size decreases statistical power / Too large samples are usually seen as a waste of effort and sources.




9. Poorly described patient populations 
It points out the importance of working with subjects that are suitably related to the context of the research. If we outline the participants' characteristics correctly before we start the research, it will give us the most appropriate results later on.
For example, if you are doing a pediatric research, it would be useless to take people older than 25 as participants for the research.

A study for chemotherapy for breast cancer in women should include the women in similar life, health status. For example if a woman has an infection and others don't, she has to be excluded from the study. Although it is very difficult to provide enough amount of people in a study who are in similar positions in life. This is a very important issur that the researchers have to consider about.
