Tech future careers sounds interesting because it offers different online tools and advice on future tech careers.
Unfortunately, I am not aware of any similar tools in my country.

Unfortunately, I don't know any other tool or site in Italy. Tech future careers and skillage seem to be useful and interesting. Moreover, skillage is available also in Italian language.

SKILLAGE.EU not know, I think is very nice and helpful. In my day (high school) he used a booklet with the quiz, based on the scores given you addressed to a type of work. I think these are interesting sites recommended Moloto to guide young people towards their professional future.

All tools look interesting. I've just experienced the quiz of "Tech future careers" and I result as developer. It would nice to start a new year with new students with this quiz and develop the plan taking in account of the results.

All these tools are very interesting for Secondary students. At this moment, I am teaching in a Primary school and I think that these tools are not very useful for them. However, I have been teaching for 8 years at different Secondary schools and I know that at these ages most students do not know what they want to do in their future life, these tools could be very interesting for helping them, but in my country, Spain, we do not have these type of tools. The Dream Job Game could be the most suitable tool considering the type of students that I have known in Secondary Education in my Region.

I just tried the Skillage one for myself and learn that I have some things to work on. I still have to try the others, but all of them look interesting. Maybe trying all and comparing the results between them will be useful.
I am not sure if in my country there is a tool like this. I have to look.

It is a test that gives orientation for choosing bachelor degree (you have to register in order to answer it and have 3 days to complete it, after that the answers are deleted and have to start again).

The Dream Job game is for me the most interesting because it seems a simple and short quiz. In addition the interest, soft skills and IT abilities are also taken into account. The teacher can design it and the students should particpate too.
I don't know any of these tools.

Lora Italy I’ve never heard about matchmaking tools before , but they seem so interesting and above all useful for young students. According to other italian colleagues something similar could be some on line tests offered by a large number of university to help students to choose the best faculty for their success. I’ m a primary school teacher so my students are too young for these tools but I like very much tech future carrers because its purpose is help students to understand the variety of opprtunities job market can afford.

I visited the Entrepreneurial school TES guide, because I develop an Erasmus+ project related to entrepreneurship and I read that this tool "can be used at the start of a project in a single lesson and then re-visited during the course of the project to support the review process. In my opinion,I believe tha the most interesting matchmaking tools are the The Entrepreneurial School beacause this can promote entrepreneurship from an early age.An other interesting matchmaking tool is the e-competency benchmark survey because it can design future career pathways and also emphasizes in women's education on STEM issues. They are all interesting, but if I had to choose one it would be Tech Future tool for students because is not so “professional oriented” as OPENSKIMR and E-competency benchmark and it’s not “ICT centered” as Skillage.

Very interesting tools, no matter the simplicity of the quiz (the entrepreneurial school is just a doc), because it makes the students reflect about their skills and likes, which is already a success. Unfortunately, I find them difficult to use because only Skillage can be followed in Spanish. I am not sure if we have samething like that in Spain (On line tools).
In my Schools there were a program where pupils write what they want to be and th e program tell them the possible studies they should do to achieved it. There was other option in that program where the children choose the studies and the program tell them the jobs option.

Anjy tool that helps someone choose a career path or gives information is useful. However, all these sites assumed the user had at least an idea of whether they were drawn more towards arts, science or IT. However,as said above many children have equal talents and interests in more than one area and so need guidance as to possible career paths. In addition most of the tools here concentrate on ICT and technology careers. Although not difficult to use, some also had very basic questions limiting the information that could be gathered. Tools can be useful but in depth career counselling over several sessions is in my opinion the best way of guiding students.

a) The entrepreneurial school, identify students strengths and 'lifelong learning' skills that can be applied in real life contexts.

b) The Dream Job game, students will be able to find a number of possible dream jobs, anh help their choose.

c) Tech future careers, because students can see which tech field they are better suited for and also they will discover possible career paths they can follow to achieve their dreamed career path.

To be honest, I don't know if any of these are used locally. This job is usually done by the guidance teachers or career advisers. Loved The Dream Job Game since it outlines the various paths that one can take for his/her future showing that their is not right or wrong way to get to your destination. I am a bit afraid that their programs might be somewhat limiting ...their might be pupils that stick to the results they get and do not explore other options that might arise unexpectedly. Also there is a lack of human interaction in the process....pupils need to discuss their emotions and fears about their future and this cannot be done with a computer.

I teach in a Low Secondary School, to children from 11 to 13 years old. So, I usully don’t use matchmaking tools but I read the document about “matchmaking tools”. I think that one of the best matchmaking tools is Skillage, a tool that measures your ICT skills and your readiness for the job market. It is an online test that consists of 15 questions randomly chosen from a set of 100 and grouped into five competence areas: Employability, Productivity, Communication, Social media and Content Management, and Safety. Each question provides a multiple-choice answer to assess a specific digital skill. At the end if the test, the user received an overall score on their general digital competence, and advice on where to find a local Telecentre network to improve these skills through training and support.

Two of the matchmaking tools are interesting to mi: TechFuture careers and Skillage. The reason is that I think my students can take the most of them. Thinking about my secondary students, I think the Dream JOb Game is a great tool, as it is very simple, just like a game, and it can give great advice on the path to follow. It is also helpful for teachers to guide students on their decisión making process. I don't think such tools are used in Spain, which is a shame, as many times students are unsure about what path to follow and they are many times misguided by their parents or friends.

All tools are interesting and useful for our students, because their difficulties for them to choose the most suitable path career has been absolutely proved, partly due to the fact that they are not very confident in the future opportunities and don't connect skills and knowledge to the job market. The eternal question when teaching is: why should I study these contents or subject? what this is useful for? But I prefer OPENSKIMR and TES because they let the students a self-assessment of their skills and the job opportunities associated and discovering it could encourage them to enroll in a STEM career.
But, to be honest this is just a first impression, because I'd like to
use them with the students to have an opinion taking into account the results obtained.

Students feel lost many times. It is frequent the lack of information or orientation. They don’t really know what they are capable of and what they can do. Matchmaking tools are very interesting since they can show the strengths and skills of students and their potential career. There are several I love. The one I preferred was:

- Tech Future Careers because students can match with the tech field they are better suited for.

Unfortunately, in Portugal I don’t know any similar application.
