So far the main character Finch seems to be a (and I quote) "Bad Boy"...well in some ways. For example is how on page 12 he explains why he is on "probation". "This is due to a small matter involving a desk and a chalkboard. (For the record replacing a chalkboard is more expensive than you might think.) It's also due to a guitar-smashing incident during assembly, an illegal use of fireworks, and maybe a fight or two," and to top it all off he makes a joke about his own death on page 13. "Were you planning to jump off" then Finch replies saying, "Not on pizza day. Never on pizza day." This shows how the main character Finch is so far in the book.

The second main character in the book All The Bright Places , is Violet. Violet once was a very happy girl, until her accident. On pages 18-25 the author writes a chapter in her POV. On those pages, Violet is talking to her counselor about how she has been doing and that she doesn't ride in cars because the last time she did her sister died. The author shows a little bit how Violet once was someone else and that after her sister died she doesn't do anything. For example is how on page 25 she says that writing was her talent, but after she lost her sister she doesn't write at all

On page 100 I start to get the idea that Violet is going to change. She and Finch are on a trip around the world, so they can do a project, but also to get there mind off of death. During this chapter, Violet seems to be more of a happy person, this seems like a change because ever since her sister died she was more of a depressing, sad, and lonely person. But now that Finch is here and with her, she seems to be happier, but she tries not to be. For example is how on page 99 she laughed at a joke, but as soon as she did she immediately stopped. It i s almost as if she doesn't want to be happy. Hopefully Finch can change that.

"I wonder what Finch is doing right now..." On page 122 in the book All We Have Is Now by Jennifer Niven I noticed a change in the character Violet Markey. Violet is out on a date with her boyfriend "Ryan" and just out of the blue she thinks about Finch, when she is out, on a "date", with her BOYFRIEND. I think this is a change caused by Finch (obviously) because if I were her right now I would be thinking about my boyfriend instead of some boy who I say "I don't like". This shows that Violet is starting to have an attraction to Finch, what if she dumps Ryan for Finch?

On page 118 in the book All We Have Is Now by Jennifer Niven I noticed a slight change in the main character Violet. On page 118 Violet goes outside only to find Finch laying on her lawn sleeping. When she wakes him up he asks "Any more nightmares?", he asks because after her accident she had nightmares everyday about her sister dieng. When she replies "No" you can see that something caused a change in her, and that something is a someone named Finch. I think this because, ever since she meet him on the bell tower, she started to have a different reaction, especially with Finch. She shares things with him and what not. This shows change between violet.

"Before I die want to know a perfect day. He steps back, reading it over, and steps forward again. And meet Boy Parade. Before I can say anything, he laughs, rubs it out, and replaces it with: And kiss Violet Markey." And the best part about this part is that Violet wanted to kiss Finch too. "Just because
I wanted him to kiss me for, like, one second doesn't mean I like Theodore Finch." Notice how she uses his full name like she was embarrassed when she was thinking that. This shows that Violet is being changed by Finch, she is being changed by liking someone "new" someone "strange", Finch.

On Page 126 I think, no I Know Violet Markey is a changed girl. Finch and Violet were getting ready to go to another mysterious place (for thei project of course) and the place they are going to needs to be driven there. Ever since the accident where Violet's sister died, she has never been I a car again, so the fact that Finch convinced her to get in the car with him and drive to there destination, just proves to you that Theodore Finch has changed Violet Markey. And maybe even made her a better, more exciting person.

On pages 202 and 203, I literally screamed while reading this quote. "For once I don't want to be anyone but Theodore Finch, the boy who sees. He understands what it is to be elegant and euphoric and a hundred different people, most of them flawed and stupid, part asshole, part screwup, part freak, a boy who wants to be easy for the folks around him so that he doesn't worry them and, most of all, easy for himself." Then it continues on to this last part saying "He is exactly who I want to be and what I want my epitaph to say: The Boy Violet Markey Loves." This is the biggest change so far in this book. Before Finch always thought that when people called him the freak, or the weirdo, it was his fault. But now (after the fact that Violet and Him kissed) he realizes that it wasn't his fault, and that he doesn't want to be someone else. He understands "what it is to be elegant and euphoric,". This is the new Theodore Finch

Page 241 is a chat between Violet and Finch after they did the dirty deed. "I wish that hadn't happened, but I don't regret what came before" quotes Finch, then Violet replies with, "I don't regret it either, though I wish we could go back and get home on time". Is It just me, or does it seem like not only did there relationship change, but themselves did too. Violet and Finch seem to be, what's the word, In love, with each-other. After the fact they were going to kill themselves in the beginning of the book, now they both have heart aching desire for each other. Violet has changed, because now that she is in love with Finch, Finch is bringing out the confidence, the new in her, while Violet is making Finch more of a leader, more of a brave person. She makes him more confident in being himself. This shows how they both are changing each-other.

On page 288 I fount a big change for both Violet and her parents. "...we didn't know we'd ever see you drive again." Says her mother, yup, she is doing it, she is driving. This is a big change in this story, and it is a big moment for Violet since she hasn't driven ever since her sister died. You can see that she has overcome her fear of both being in a car and driving one, this is all because of Finch. If Violet never met Finch on that tower, she wouldn't have ever gotten over her fear of being in a car again. This shows change due to another character in the book.
